I’m proud of all our service men and women, and the skill and dedication they display everyday. I wanted to fly myself, join the Air Force and join their aerobatic team, but type 1 diabetes took that away from me at an early age. Anyway, be sure to check out the USAF Thunderbirds, they fly F-16’s. The Canadian RCAF has the Snowbirds team. Your British RAF has the Red Arrows. The South Koreans have the Black Eagles. The Aussies have the Roulettes. A lot of countries have teams, America is just lucky enough to have 2 in aircraft. We’ve also got a team that uses aircraft, only to jump out of them! The US Army had an expert parachute team called the Golden Knights, which are awesome! Which one’s the best? Everyone will say the guys from their country, so I guess it’s all relative ( I wanted to be in the Air Force, so it’s the Thunderbirds lol ).

The US military does airshows frequently as a way to reach out to the community and to make some money. It's crazy getting buzzed by an f-16 or having an A-10 barrel roll and shoot flares.

I live in San Francisco, and the 49ers are my football team! Candlestick doesn't exist anymore, unfortunately. The 49ers moved 45 minutes away to Santa Clara. I see the Blue Angels every year, though. They practice over my home all week before the weekend shows. Once, I totally forgot the Blue Angels were in town and heard these mighty and powerful jets over my house. I was like wtf😂. I saw them and was like phew they're Americans 😂😂😂😂😂

John Madden refused to fly, so he used a customized bus, for his travel to football game telecasts. There are YT videos of his "Madden Cruiser". ❤

Just about every year the Blue Angels put on a show on the 4th of July weekend at Jones Beach which is the next barrier beach island to the east of Long Beach , the barrier beach island where we live . The two islands are separated by Jones Inlet , which is about 500 meters wide . We see them practicing for a couple of days out over the ocean before the show and then can see the show fairly well from here .I don't recall ever hearing about them having an accident , which is amazing considering how closely they fly too each other , or is it just another case of government controlling the " news ".

I saw them today at the Dayton Air Show.

Seen them live at The Luke Days Airshow at Luke Air Force Base Airshow. Fleet Week in San Francisco is a Week long Airshow.
