@@forgivemenot1 For Ollie, food is on an spectrum but there's some triangular slices missing and other sections expand to infinity. He has standards but god dammit are they extreme, weird and unstable. This is what RU-vid did to him.
He only eats weird snacks because he knows Josh is gonna suffer with him too. The pure feeling of knowing someone else will suffer with you too is too powerful of an energy
me, a polish person: *sees smoked prunes* ....oh no just so you know, we don't eat them just by themselves, we usually make a compote with them for christmas! (and i hate it, it's like drinking smoke)
@@anasabolovic5006 I dunno, I'm from Ukraine and I like these plums (especially covered in chocolate *0* best sweets ever) but so many people hate them to their guts! :D
As a Polish lass myself, I can say that listening to Josh and Ollie's pronouciation attempts were hilarious. Especially the way they said 'orzechowy' which means 'nutty'. XD
As much as I love the whole Grollie attitude in this ep, hope Ollie is fine and not currently facing issues irl (at most I just hope for lack of sleep?) which caused him to be Grollie. Miss you on Twitch, Ollie!
He actually seems to be doing better these past two weeks. He wasn't in a good place and it showed, but I think being able to see friends and family again to some capacity at least is making him feel less isolated maybe. I'm not here to analyze, of course. It just makes sense.
Beside his daughter is a threenager now, even if you have a little angle like Juno that age is a NIGHTMARE. Trust me, I've been around them my whole life.
Why isn't he in the twitch live streams tho? I actually missed the last few ones with him because of timing in my country so i don't know :( and now i don't see him in the live streams
NotYour Girl Ollie is the editor so he’s busier after shooting videos and as far as I know, only Josh is the real gamer. Ollie always says how bad he in games, and in Twitch, they always projected Josh’s screen, but I actually want to see Ollie’s screen instead. Not everyone who play games win every time, I hope Ollie can come again when he’s not too busy!
As a polish person, I have to say that I'm kinda sad that you Didn't try Ptasie Mleczko (and different Wedel chocolates) , chałwa, sezamki and many many more😅 Maybe part 2? :DD
i have never been happier to finally find a person who doesn’t like fruit in chocolate too. Ollie i am totally with you on fruit in chocolate. i find it disgusting but so many people like it. you’re not alone 😂
I've only discovered Jolly about a month ago. Those boys are so very entertaining and I Love their interactions and humor and wit. They can take an unpleasant day and make me smile. Jolly good!!!
Seeing this made me so happy 😭 I’m polish and clapped like a seal when I saw you guys were trying Polish snacks. I’m glad you loved the prince polo! Also try coconut and standard jeżyki they’re the BEST maybe Ollie would prefer it. Also pls keep us on the wall of fame 😂♥️😭
Well, Imo Poland has so many awesome snacks that weren't included in the package. I've never heard of the first and the second thing, maybe they're more popular on the east (I live on the far west). Also, I was highly offended and had a small heart attack when I saw how they've opened Ptasie Mleczko
i haven't heard of those two either and I live in the eastern part lol apparently, pańska skórka is a Warsaw thing, I myself have never tried it. And dried prunes are used to make kompot z suszu which I hate with passion
OH I'm so happy that we get to see Polish snacks in your episode! I was thinking about all the time "when they will react to our sweets and snacks" and then WE HAVE IT! Even Jeżyki get on the wall of fame!! Brilliant! THAK YOU for making that episode. Big thanks for Catherine Maria for sending them those snacks! Greeting firm Poland, you guys have a lot of fans here! Do zobaczenia w następnym odcinku! (See you soon in the next episode!) Btw your pronunciation was SO GOOD!!!
So I'm Polish but I currently live in Sweden, but it was really fun to see someone's reaction to some Polish snacks since I really miss eating them. Some of them I didn't even know of, probably since I lived in Poland for only 4 years before moving to Sweden, but chocolate plums and Prince Polo are some classics. Anyways, I'm a big fan of yours and love your content! Thank you for teaching us all about many cultures, which I actually love!
Even though techically a fruit, I think raising have become so "dessertified" over the years by people putting them in all kinds of various desserts that I just see them as chocolate chips now 😂 but more chewy
Finally! I love Polish snacks! I live in England but I'm Polish and they are amazing! I'm kind of mad you didn't try Ptasie Mleczko because they are the best chocolate ever! Also, I'm pretty sure there are many Polish shops in England so you can buy them if you find a local one near by.
So many Poles were protesting about Jolly excluding Ptasie Mleczko, I got curious and looked it up. Sounds 100% scrumptious, and I am tempted to buy some, just to satisfy my curiosity. Pity it's USD10 + shipping, so a bit pricey.
You should try all flavours of the biscuits “Jeżyki”. My favourite is advocat😊 They also come in original, coffee, cherry liquor, coconut and more. They are the best! Also you got done dirty with the smoked prunes🙈 No one eats them straight up. Those along other dried fruit are used in a traditional Christmas drink (my absolute favourite when done well). We do snack on dried prunes but not the smoked ones.
Guys ur pronunciation is really good I’m shook! greetings from Poland my friends ! I’m waiting for more video with Poland ^^ Any polish jollybean’s here ?
I'm with Ollie! Chocolate should never have fruit in it! Lol. Love the expressions Ollie gets on his face when he doesn't like something! Lol. Graces laugh is awesome! 😂😂😂
Wow, thanks a lot Ollie. I watched this video yesterday but came back to comment. My sister made chocolate covered today, and I couldn't eat them in peace because all I was thinking about were your retorts about chocolate-covered fruit...
I'm actually from Poland and I died laughing! Thank you for including Poland and Olly... your Polish was great! Love to see you sometime in the future in Warszawa, when you will try our dumplings (which are called 'pierogi') they will find their way to be numer one on a jolly wall of fame. Love you guys
@@solene3346 I think most names for Polish geographics come from Latin west of Germany. East way just use Slavic names and Germans butchered them in tbeir own special way lol
I'm polish and sooo happy to see this episode!!! I love Jerzyki, they are the best!!! They have many flavours, also without raisins. I'd love to see this episode uncut... Please make it available at least for people who support the Chanel 🙏
I'm from Poland 🇵🇱 and I'm watching my best channel on youtube, I'm always laughing. Ollie you said in Polish "cześć" very good 😁. it's fun to see you guys try. Polish sweets
I want to send Chilean snacks looong time ago... But lockdown and mail service are a big obstacle to do it (yes, I'm still in lockdown!). Nice episode, as always! Sending my support from Chile. Thanks for make my lockdown fun (Sorry for my baaaad English xD)
Omg I LOVE THIS video. Your polish is actually quite good, no joke ❤ as a polish person I have no idea what the first thing you ate even is. Never heard about that lmao, and personally I hate plums, smoked or nah its disgusting I dont know anyone who actually like it 🤣 we do not "love" prunes hahahah
Ollie ranting over fruit covered chocolate is a form of entertainment I wouldn't think I needed until I saw a full video of it. Ollie rant-reviews food as a new series? Would love that journey for him lol
A lot of this snacks we have in Russia to! I love smoked plums, favorite prune. In Russian we also say Варшава(Warsaw) the polish way. Great vid!(sorry for my broken english)
Ok, I feel like this episode is an unfair representaion of Polish snacks. You had SO much stuff on the table by the end that are DELICIOUS! I'm 25 and I've never heard of Pańska Skórka (I think it's sold mainly in Warsaw). I know that smoked prunes are clickbait material but they are rare and for example Ptasie Mleczko (which you had 2 boxes of on your table) is a thing that is unique to Poland and should be at least mentioned! Same with the drinks. As a Polish person I'm dissapointed...
