My .30 cal Ghost is now my go to wildlife control weapon. With the interchangeable barrel system it would seem like it would be a no brainer that a slug barrel with the correct barrel twist would be mandatory to satisfy the customer’s needs and increase their sales of the Ghost and extra barrels. Outstanding mechanical version of the Alpha Wolf.
Well, what can we say, Marno... The gun looks terrific, the footage was so clear and vivid, and that was some great shooting with the Redesigneds who are my favourite .22 projectile as well. Once again, you've lived up to your reputation, bud 👏
I cant afford the Ghost, just yet.But I do have Xr magnums in both .22 and .25. I want the .22 Ghost hp primarily because it is more powerful than the Xr while being a full 6 inches shorter. Thanks for you video.Marno. Oh,and excellent shooting by the way! There is a review of this .22hp that just came out about 6 days ago.Its on youtube and its by Johnny Superdad. He says he was able to get 33 full power shots with that same rig you got there ,shooting redesign monsters @1000 fps.Thats about 60 fpe,but less than the 65 fpe that Brocock claims you can get in .22.I will take 60fpe,though as my xr magnum .22 is only 45 fpe with Redesigns. He also claims that he gets slightly tighter groups with a 0 db moderator on the gun.I agree with him, because that is definitely been my findings with the xr magnums, too. He also, like me,thinks that the new Hinged rare earthed magnet magazines are waayyyy too expensive. Those magazines are over $100 in the USA.The magazine for my .22 xr magnum is about that same price.Dont get me wrong, they are awesome magazines. But they are wwwaaaayyyyy overpriced in our opinions.
Thank you Andi yeah its a phenomenal air rifle. Currently im using the Chinese atlas bipods. They are really terrible 🤣 but i just cant get myself to pay a crazy amount of money the 2 little legs.
great intro video ... high quality and detail ... the pellets might be spiraling a bit at that velocity ... no doubt it can be accurate, but i am waiting to see what kind of support brocock gives to the slug barrels and repairability of the gun ... i hope that brocock will be listening to and supporting shooters like you ... that was how fx sucked me in
Thanks for the video on this rifle as there's not many yet. I just picked up a Delta Wolf in 177. I love the rifle but still trying to get used to the electronic gun! Think the Ghost may be next on the list. Look forward to see how it does with slugs!!! :-)
Thank you. To shoot slug well you need a barrel that can allow you to shoot them accurate there are a lot of factors, so the gun can shoot slugs but how well is yet to bee seen
Nice! But I don't believe it's that easy for caliber swaps for the simple fact of heavier springs and hammer sizes probably different in the bigger calibers. Im sure much has to be done other than just changing the barrel and pellet probe. This is misinformation. I actually have this rifle in the .22 magnum version. These rifles are little monster along with superior accuracy! It will give other brands a run for their money! Hey sta slingin that sweet air rifle lead! Ed da pro snippin air man💥💪😎
Nope there is no misinformation everything i said about the rifle is true. You dont need to change any hammer spring. You just need to replace the pellet probe and the barrel if you want to change calibers. In the sub 12 version the hammer will be weaker but i dont see the use of a sub 12 .30cal. I think when you are talking about a "magnum version" you are referring to the high power version. But thanks for the comment i appreciated and hope i shed some light on the subject.
@@AirGunnerSA well, I know different sir. There's no way the spring and hammer is the same for a .22 as is for a 30! They said the same about FX and then after research the stuff was diifferent in each caliber. I think I'm correct and you've represented the rifle wrong. Am very sorry you don't really know about the products. You better research
@@BRKBrocock No it isn't. I talked to an air rifle repairman awhile back. The smaller calibers have different size pellet probes in them, not enough for bigger bores. Has to be changed out along with the power block stuff for bigger calibers. Ur full of shit! BS
Hi, I'm interested in the cheek piece that you have on the Ghost, is it from a Delta Wolf? Here in the UK the cheek piece is down flat on the body of the gun and the overhang on the left side partially covers the magazine slot, so if we want to load the magazine from the left or install 2 magazines we have to buy a very expensive PRS cheek riser.
I have the .30 cal Ghost. All you have to do is move the cheek rest back and you can then insert the magazine from the left side. No need to buy the riser cheek rest.
