I remember when I was very young in my family was very poor, my mom and dad took me and my brothers to outback steakhouse for some special occasion, and we almost never ate out back then. Now none of my family drinks, but me and my brothers saw these sharks on top of other people's drinks, and so my mom ask one of the waiters if she could buy a few of the shark toys for us. The amount of fun I had with that particular toy in those times as a child makes me tear up a bit because of how little we had back then. I absolutely love my mom and dad. Also outback is a really good place to eat, haven't been there in forever but I can still remember the taste of the steak.
I can definitely relate! I remember a bowl of vegetable soup my dad bought for me in Wendover, NV and as we left, I spied a toy "one-armed bandit", and it was so cute that my dad had to buy one for me and he did. I never forgot the meal or the toy and nothing has ever replaced those memories!
@@SB37222 Did they have the little shark full of grenadine as well? I honestly don't know. I've never eaten at Joe's Crab Shack and I don't order drinks when I go out to eat because it's expensive and usually not good enough to warrant the cost or the calories.

Na they just get told "you're replaceable" followed up by asking if you can cover some teenagers shift that didn't show up, and the business will claim they can't find any good workers these days. And they expect a 2 week notice if you want to quit, but if they decide to fire you they don't give you a 2 week notice, communist sympathizer business type.

@tomk427 yeah I asked them about the size being so small "for 2 people" their response: well you habe to add ice to it and pour it into 2 different cups" sounds about right, for them. They load up the glasses with ice.
This is easy, im a bartender. 1oz Sour 1oz coconut malibu rum 1/2 oz blue carucao 1/2 oz pinapple maybe add some cherry garnish or pinapple finally the shark is just grenadine, use like a 1/2 oz or something
No pineapple; you can also use vodka instead of rum… Adding pineapple would tinge it green… 1 1/4 oz Vodka 1/2 oz Blue Carucao 2-3 oz Sour Floater of Grenadine

It would essentially be the same thing, but I’d omit the simple syrup since it would essentially be replaced with the Grenadine…

Sadly outback went from one of my favorites to being a let down and nasty, ive done repair work in 3 of their kitchens and its worse than anything on kitchen nightmares
