This is legitimately the only RU-vid ad I have ever sat through. I thoroughly enjoyed all three minutes. Maybe someday this band will be so popular that they won't need a RU-vid ad! (:
I'm 31 and have been a fan of poppunk since Blink 182's Dammit and Green Day's Dookie. You guys have it. Congrats and Thank you! I have this on repeat. Reminds me of Yellowcard (Ocean Avenue) and All Time Low.
Saw this song on an ad as I was about to give one of All Time Low's disappointing new songs (Kids In The Dark) another shot and lo and behold it's way better than the song I was going to listen to haha. I like you Broadside.
Rebecca Troy I totally feel that. So much of their old stuff has been a soundtrack to my life but this is the first album where there hasn't been anything that really gets a rise out of me. It's like there is no bite to it.
this one goes out to you, Angelo, sophomore year of hs choir and those after school music jams :’) idk where u are now but this song is still a bop to me
Lately, all I wanna do is lay around with you and complain about the youth. How we’ll never leave your room, tell me everything that bothers you. Aimlessly driving on the highway, hoping that you’ll check your phone and that you’re still awake. Please don’t take this as anything but honest, I’m still stuck on last Thursday when you undressed and whispered my name. Lately, all I wanna do is lay around with you and complain about the youth. How we’ll never leave your room, tell me everything that bothers you. And damn girl, you don’t even know. Looking at my eyes, staring at my soul. I forgot how to be alone. Stay up all night when you’re not at home. Waffle house, black coffee in our mugs. We’re hazy eyed, but not because we’re fucked up, it’s just that we’ve been up all night. Sharing stories of our past, empty vows of how you’d keep in touch, If I can always make you laugh. And all I wanna do is just lay around with you. Lately, all I wanna do is lay around with you and complain about the youth. How we’ll never leave your room, tell me everything that bothers you. And damn girl, you don’t even know. Looking in my eyes, staring at my soul. I forgot how to be alone. Stay up all night when you’re not at home. And my chest ignites when I hear you speak, miss your company long before you leave. Your scent, it lingers all within my sheets, and your touch, girl, brings me to my knees. Lately, all I wanna do is lay around with you and complain about the youth. How we’ll never leave your room, tell me everything that bothers you. And damn girl, you don’t even know. Looking at my eyes, staring at my soul. I forgot how to be alone. Stay up at night when you’re not at home.
For sure, the absolute BEST ad I've ever not skipped. Coffee Talk Acoustic is SOOOOOOO fkng awesome! And "Storyteller",ugh, forget it.These dudes are ridiculous, gonna be super huge!
these days people listen to crap like drake and the wkend, just synth drum beats and talking overtop, their brains cant handle real music, chords progressions, singing etc.. they see it as "whiney" when you show emotion. imagine, humanity without emotions, see: present day
I was trying to watch a All Time Low video and this was a ad. It actually caught my attention. So now I'm here. (God, why must I get blessed with so many bands?)
You have to know a bit about the music business, the artists don't get a whole lot of choice in what they look like. The record label decides their "look" I remember being told by an A&R rep that I had to wear different shoes. I'm a drummer, who's going to see my feet?1 but I had to go from wearing my favorite basketball shoes to wearing Vans. There are people hired to give bands their "look" so the haircuts may not be their doing.
I think they are gonna go far just give it a couple years!! Seriously EVERY band member is attractive, but that's never why I start liking a band, and this great song to start out with,it's on replay replay replay!!
It was such a privilege to see you guys back in Tiffin, Ohio (: we all miss you guys! Need to come to the Art & Music Festival! Need hugs from all of you again! My vans still show your guys signatures when you first came to tiffin!
I work at a java joint where we do "coffee talks" every morning and this popped up on suggested, i was like holy shit. Turned out to be amazing now they're one of my fav bands!
