Loved Marin every since I saw her as Rapunzel in Into the Woods. So many wonderful performances. She will be greatly remembered and missed.

I was sobre very lucky to have bien able to see her performance on sta gente and in videos. Since I don't live in the US, I take opportunities to go to New York and see what is playing on B'way and had the chance to see her performance in one of Sondheim's play Passion. I could talk with her and belleza able to tell her how wonderful a performance she had given. Later I saw her in Ragtime and what a thrill it was todo have seen her again. So I only ask the Lord above to welcome this beautiful angel.

My sister had ovarian cancer. That was nearly 30 years ago, and she's STILL cancer-free. I hope the same will be true for Marin. It's no longer a death sentence.

I remember so well every one of her roles.. I just went wild on Passion and her bravura in RAGTIME.. few people have it.. THANK YOU ... see you.. in your best role in my mind RIP

She came into my world when the Tony's broadcast from the "Passion" scenes. I was absolutely captivated with her singing "All this happiness...." I played my video tape over and over....she had such an ethereal voice and presence. I always was saddened I never got to see her live. Even in this Lincoln Center production, she is absolutely lovely. She and Daniel Dae Kim had such beautiful chemistry in the clips I've seen. My favorite song is from my Stephen Schwartz's CD where she and other artists sing his various songs. Schwartz created a mix interweaving two of his songs. One being "With You" from Pippin and "Gifts of Love" from The Baker's Wife. He changed the lyrics to make "Gifts of Love" a very positive song and Marin ended with that particular piece. The orchestration combined with her voice is absolutely breathtaking. As with many other fans, it broke my heart so much that she died. She was an outstanding performer.

She knew what was best for her and consulted her doctors. She was absolutely incredible in The King and I btw. Marin will be missed but I think her optimism, strength and courage were amazing.

She doesn't look well here. I can understand wanting to 'move on' and do another show, but one wonders if she had instead rested longer, would she have survived.
