The abandoned building you went by after The Beast had been Liberty Steakhouse (had the blue stars around the top). It was a great restaurant, bummed to see it closed.

I'm a resident of Myrtle Beach. First ferris wheel I ever rode was the worlds largest and it happened to have been near Myrtle Beach, S.C., via Surfside Beach, at an amusement park known as Magic Harbor, of which I was employed at the time back in the early 1980's. I rode it with a cute girl (Tina Operaman), that was visiting with her family from Pittsburg Pennsylvania. We had planned on meeting up later that night and hang out on the beach, but her older sister told her parents and pretty much gawked at her the whole night preventing her from sneaking away lol. Hey we were young, it was summer, and we had a great time with one another, it just didn't go anywhere after that moment, but it's something I recall and always makes me smile.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Jacob, you are absolutely going to have a million subscribers one day. And on that day I'm going to say I TOLD YOU SO!!!

That Herschell-Spillman carousel has a coincidence with the animals. The cats, dogs, elephants & lion are some of the menagerie animals to ride & some of the scenery panels match the same animal (A panel of a lion, a panel with an elephant and it's baby, a panel of a cat with a mouse above the signature panel & two panels of dogs).

Myrtle beach is one giant tourist trap and i love it i wish they would bring in more spooky attractions

Tha hangout has live music nightly 6-10. At 15 til every hour they do dynamics a show that changes hourly. And shout is the big party one at usually 745 or 845 pm. That place is a party place servers Large parties and teams. The tables are solid and built to hold people. Go back at night it’s rockin.

Jacob, please visit the Outer Banks of N.C. and visit the Wright Brothers Memorial and museum, the lighthouses, the Frisco Native American museum and much, much more!!!

@The Carpetbagger great video man. I haven't been to Myrtle Beach since 2020 and Broadway at the Beach was my favorite place to go as well. And yeah it's said The Kwik - E Mart closed down. There are RU-vidrs there I stay in touch with who told me about it. I was disappointed to know it shut down.

My best guess why The Simpsons attraction is closed could be because of licensing usually the issue is either a place like this one just opens in attraction and doesn’t get permission by the owners of the rights of said characters or whatever agreement they had for whatever amount of time has expired

I'm a local and, sadly, the Simpsons attraction and Kwik-E-Mart shut down permanently about two months ago. While the store always had a good bit of foot traffic, the main theater attraction never had much attendance. Not sure what will eventually replace it.

I was there in early May and the Kwik-E Mart was open but very empty/dead. Also we went to the hangout last year for our daughters birthday and it was still new and kinda slow but fun. We went a few months ago with her softball team and it was definitely a fun time and good food!

Man, The Pavilion was a huge part of my childhood and seeing that carousel made a ton of memories and emotions come flooding back. I haven't even gone to Myrtle Beach since it closed, but I may have to go just to ride the carousel one more time and to grab a hotdog from Peaches Corner.

All those ride at broadway came from the old pavilion park. Wish you had stayed at the hangout for live music every night from 6 to 10 and fireworks Tuesday and Friday nights at 10.

I was just vacationing here two months ago! July 14-28. It is so interesting to see the trip through someone else's eyes

Love the Christmas at the beach store. Every year at the end of July we have Christmas in July. We have a real tree on the beach with lots of decorations. We give out candy canes to the kids. And much more. Big celebration every year.

The placard on Zoltar also spelled Zoltair in some spots, I wonder if that is a typo or is he also Zoltair the Great! hehe

That large school of fish is actually my phone lock screen. Got a video of the fish with the sharks in the background turned it into my lock screen live wallpaper.

I will never forget the first time my family ate at Margaritaville. The hurricane warning video came across the tvs and my mom INSTANTLY started panicking. She was checking her phone and was looking around like ‘what the F was going on?’ Then she realized it was part of the restaurant and calmed down.

Another fun day! You have the best job in the world and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

Does anyone else think dancing on restaurant tables would be a liability nightmare?
