I am a connoisseur of karnatic music and aged 68 years. I Ave been hearing high quality of music right from legends Ariyakudi. GNB, Madurai Mani Iyer., M.S.Subbulakshmi Dr.BalMuralikrishna and so on. I find the rendition by SooryaGayathri has absorbed and imbibed all the essential inputs from the musicians of yester years and the present top musicians. A very soulful rendering of the kriti. If one listens for one time,it keeps on lingering for quite some time with the mood of rendition packed by bhakthi and devotion. I think she is incarnation of Devi swaroopa and has the bountiful blessings of God to give such a effect while singing. My heartiest appreciations. Please continue the journey with same zeal and I don't have any iota of doubt in your emerging as a bright star occupying galaxy in the field of music. Her parents are blessed to have a child like this. By listening to this song I derive immense internal happines and cannot be quantified. I have also learnt this song many years before. I could appreciate all the nuances of soulful rendition.

She is a real little goddess for me. There is nothing like these soothing beautiful bhajans and songs. No matter where I am while travelling, me time I listen to her beautiful song and voice. She is an amazing singer. I am inspired by her. Sooryagayathri is the reason I got in music and singing. ❤ I have heard Bhakti and god songs before but these songs take us to a very different world of spiritual music and bhakti or bhajans. I don't have much music knowledge. I am learning for two years only. I don't understand Malayalam, tamil nor I understand Telugu. She is amazing and I love her. Stay blessed. Crystal clear rendering, by Sooryagayathri...... 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌. This kriti is characterized by its Long Telugu phrases. It must be very difficult to sing this song, giving 100% justice to the poetic beauty, especially in lower tempos I believe. I have seen great musicians breaking in the wrong places to take breath and ultimately mutilating the poetically rich lyrics. Sooryagayathri has totally eliminated this defect, thanx to her voice culturist. Even a non Telugu listener, like me, can clearly pen down the sahitya when she sings. Few musicians are blessed with this talent. In contrast to Niroshta, her last published raga, Khamas has got a strongly scintillating madhyamam in it. While Singing, she blended it beautifully with the waves behind her. (Pa dha ma.......👌👌👌). A big hand to the helicam guy who could literally blot the scenic beauty of the picturesque western ghat ambience. One can notice the river flowing in blue near to the blue clad Sooryagayathri and brown away from her!!! What I feel is a missing sound of a Ghatam, which would have reinforced her mesmerizing voice further. Surprisingly I have never seen a ghatam accompanying in all her concerts!!!!. Can we expect a fast number with ghatam and morsing joining your dad next time ? Wish you Good luck for it Sooryagayathri.
