One of the best overall prospects in the entire draft and one of the best tight ends in a long time. Hope everyone enjoys! Thumbnail Relieved from: 247sports.com/college/georgia...
No, not at 5, he's undersized. Trade back and take him, maybe. Tight end just isnt the high impact position casual fans (who know Kelce and Kittle) think it is relative to other positions. So to justify taking at TE as high as 5, he'd have to be a perfect prospect. At 6-3 240 (probably smaller irl) he's just not, he's small for a TE. At his size, where he's lined up there are no college players that are equipped to cover him, this wont be true in the NFL and at his size he wont be the in-line blocker the Chargers also desperately need at TE.
@@justinmj6586I can tell you know football, and you’re wrong on this. The best GMs pick players that fit their system, and execute the system. Brock is a physical TE that can block extremely well. He’s WAY stronger than you give him credit for. Harbaugh loves to pound the rock and Herbert loves throwing to TE, has since Oregon. Opens up the middle of the field a ton. Perfect fit.
@@justinmj6586 That's EXACTLY what I've been saying ... but oh, don't you DARE try and discuss football logic 101 with any of these highlight-watching fanboys who think Bowers is the 2nd coming of Gronk/Kelce! 🙄 I keep having to remind them that those two weren't even 1st round picks, yet somehow I'm still "a hater who doesn't know football..." 😒
I really hope the chargers take him man. As an Alabama fan, I really grown to respect Georgia’s program. I feel like he could be a generational talent if he fulfills his potential
A lot of Charger fans will soon be watching this video hoping the new front office doesn’t screw up this pick. Mahomes has Kelse, Brady had Gronk, give Herbert Bowers!
Charger fan here... i swear ive never wanted the chargers to draft a guy more than bowers lol but if they dont go bowers.. Nabers or Alt would ve sufficient..
Great route runner, blocker, can stretch the field, has great hands, and he gets yards after the catch. Easily the best TE in this draft and a top 10 player in this draft. As a Colts fan, I'm hoping he's there at 15 so Chris Ballard can draft him. He would thrive in Shane Steichen's offense.
@@David-eh3ht He will if he mysteriously continues to DROP more weight then keep it packed on ... especially for a BLOCKING TE @ the next level (he's dropped down from 245 to like 230 lbs in just a few months already!) 😒 Plus, there have been rumors lately that Bowers has dropped so much weight since he left Georgia due to him not being able to, ummm, "pump his Tropicana" - if you catch my drift....
I've watched nabers, odunze, and bowers..we need him, especially if he can block too..then right side has a big chip guy, red zone target, security blanket even when KA13 misses time..its the perfect pick to be a Gates like TE for a franchise that loves TEs!!!🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡⚡
@@samm9074I think he's the most sure fire pick. Maybe some have higher ceilings, but unless this kid just gets unlucky with injuries I honestly can't see how he could fail at the next level. Great hands, size, toughness, and unreal speed for the position. Not sure how good his blocking is, but I honestly don't care.
@tyrekusjones5126 you can get a left later in the draft. Bur you can't get talent like this later in the draft. I agree we need Alt. But man do we need bowers. Whose our tight ends? Not much there either.
So kittle was drafted in the 5th and Travis kelce 3rd round look the falcons took spend a top 10 pick on a so called generational talent TE and how is that working out the bills drafted a TE in the first and still lost in the same playoff game that they lost last year
@tyrekusjones5126 don't matter we need someone who is willing to play hard for us and with Levis throwing to him would be great for our offense alot of our guys haven't been willing to go hard for us
Kid is legit man. Can play tight end like Kelce play the chess piece like deboo and line up wide and play the X wr position If he stays healthy he could be a goat
I want Atlanta to trade up and try to draft one of the top 3 QBs between Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and the most likely theyd be able to get Jayden Daniels but if for some reason they sign a Russell Wilson, if he gets released or Kirk Cousins or they trade their second round pick for Justin Fields, they need to draft an edge rusher at 8 like Dallas Turner, Jared Verse or Laiatu Latu. But imagine if they drafted Brock Bowers. They have Jonnu Smith as their number 2 tight end right now and he put up good number but imagine Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Brock Bowers, Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier. Theyd easily have the best duo of tight ends. They had one of the best last year already in my opinion Jonnu Smith had 50 catches for 582 and Kyle Pitts had 53 catches for 667. And they had terrible QB play. We already know Kyle Pitts.is capable of going over a 1,000 yards he did it his rookie year. And Drake London is capable he almost did it this year. Atlanta could be scary on offense next year when and if they get the QB situation right
You’ll see come April. Lots of people make the mistake you’re thinking about. What’s more important - how fast someone’s cone drill time is or how reliable a receiver is in crunch time?
@@michaelg7904 bro must of watched the video with his eyes closed anyone who watches college football knows Brock Bowers was a top 5 player in the whole country
It's almost like a runningback playing tight end. Might have trouble running some routes but once he gets the ball, he's trouble. Should be talked about in the top ten. Whoever gets him is getting a steal.
Is this guy really going to be elite at the next level ? I just dont see much that really wows me. I watched a lot of Kincaid this year, and Bowers is not better.
Regardless of height and weight. He has a proven track record against the best DBs in the best conference in college football. He blocks effectively, he catches everything, and he’s not easy to tackle by anybody.
With the 12th overall pick the Denver broncos select Brock bowers universitybof Georgia !!!!!!! This guy would be an amazing bronco and Stidham would love having such a weapon as he fills in next year while we develop a rookie we draft in round two!!!!
