Don't forget that just a week before the combine, he had a motorcycle crash, that severely limited his mobility and strength. Yet, still managed to run a 4.7 40, 30 reps on the bench, 10 foot broad jump, and 35 inch vertical. A genuine monster, and a freak of nature.

Most people don’t know he got into a motorcycle accident before his workout that got him signed. And he *the only reason* Minnesota didn’t keep him is because he couldn’t memorize the playbook in time. (According to Chris Hovan)

What you didn't mention is that- 3 months before Training Camp with the Vikings- he was involved in a car vs motorcycle accident that left him with a broken jaw, a broken hand, a bruised pelvis and a pulled groin. He worked out with the team in early June- but was still hampered by the groin injury. There was no way he was 100% going into the Preseason- but the fact that he was such an Athlete he nearly overcame these limitations and made the team is impressive. Note: he was offered a contract to represent the Vikings in NFL Europa, but turned it down to remain in the States with his family.

@@Tampafan33that gut injury was severe diverticulitis. He had 12 inches of his colon removed his stomach was severly messed up but he still fought overreem. And he had been having the issue the entire time he was in the UFC but still continued to fight. That goes to show how much of a freak athlete he was very few people can deal with diverticulitis as severe as his they would be bed bound. All the accolades Brock has received and done in College, UFC, WWE is well deserved.

For you to not understand how Incredibly hard it is to last as long as he did in camp is ridiculous. It takes a freak athlete to last a complete nfl camp after not playing a snap of football since high school. And to get a invite to continue to develop as a professional is insane.

Being athletic doesn't translate to every sport. He isn't bigger than the other guys in the field. Except the OL are used to preventing guys like him from getting past them. I wrestled in high school and I was a power lifter. I smothered guys my same rank in Ju jitsu...I could hang with those a couple belts above me...but when it came to guys that were actually good at the sport, I got crushed. I didn't have the technique and knowledge to stand a chance. Football has a unique set of skills.

I honestly feel like if he played in high school or if he rlllllllllly dedicated himself towards being like a solid offensive lineman…. He could’ve made a career out of it. He’s just a freak of an athlete. I mean he went into the UFC and just looked like this fuckin bear ready to fight his human opponent, and he would just get ahold of them and it was game over because he could tire them out so quickly, and with a 4XL glove size? I wouldn’t wanna get hit with that fist lol. But I feel like he knew that he would make more money in wrestling than the NFL, and that it would take a lot longer for him to see bigger money, and Vince I’m sure was already paying him millions when he debuted at age 21, and he just wanted to prove he could compete with these other guys out there. I can’t blame em at all, and I mean I can’t even imagine how much money that man has made in his career, AND he’s a very smart businessman that isn’t intimidated by fancy suits and ppl with money and power. He will say what he wants regardless and make it known how he feels. Brock is truly a Man’s man, or the definition of it in other words!
