Franchise QBs are defined by MULTIPLE years of high consistent play and being able to stay healthy. Brock has what it takes to be a Franchise QB….time will tell

@@HerbSterbermerbler I think they can't until 2026 if I read somewhere correctly about his rookie contract? Edit: Yup just looked it up, he's signed until 2025 since in 2021 Purdy signed a four-year, $3.7 million contract. He won't get the huge contract until 2026.

@@soapa4279 Thats the contract, but nfl teams are allowed to renegotiate after three seasons, so he’ll get paid in 2025 after his third season ends. After years at 2 per cent of market value they’ll want to pay him as soon as they can- they know if they don’t do this he’ll hold out- but it won’t be an issue, they’ll pay him as soon as they can.
