After two long years serving in the Philippines Bacolod MIssion, Elder Minson returns home to Salt Lake City to family and friends cheering him across the finishline!
Thank you Minson Family for entrusting your son to our culture; thank you for letting him share your faith and genuine care for others. In turn, thank you for letting my fellow Filipinos show your son our profound gesture of welcoming others, and opening our hearts. I can only hope than in some little way, the mission have etched lasting memories in your son. To Brock, Thank you... I hope the long treks along the countless dirt roads and muddy puddles that incurred the scuffs in your shoes led you to warm smiles and welcoming arms. I noticed "Pulupandan" on the banner in one of the pictures. My mom's side of the family can be traced for generations in that quaint little town south of Bacolod.
I am so proud of you guys for your service for our beloved Philippines I salute you and also my respect , I am a Catholic my big respect to your religion
just saw this...hey mate..thanks for serving in the Philippines. hope you cherished all the memories you had of the country and the Filipinos. this video makes me teary-eyed.
This video surprises me. I never thought i would see myself in one of the pictures. I guess Elder Minson's last area of assignment was my home town. Minson is one of the great missionaries assigned in pulupandan. Thank you for this video.
So proud for everybody wearing our Philippine flag on their shirts.. I'm a catholic in my country but do have a big respect and salute for those young people of latter day saints missionaries. God bless and thank you for the visit.
