Just listen to milk, it’s pretty clear he knows he has some problems and expresses them clearly to his audience, if only people listened to what he was actually saying throughout an album rather than listening to the first song 5 songs on an album which were in this case star, gold, Heat, and boys. Donnie Evergreen The fact that the audience wasn't listening wasn't the problem. The band clearly knew what he was talking about, but when he got kicked out they said they had been lied to. So, obviously there is more to it than we've seen on the surface. All that being said, if you're going to have members of your group rapping about how they will literally shoot you if you mistreat women (Matt's verse in JUNKY), it's probably not good for your image to have someone who mistreats women in your group. They have publicly said they don't tolerate ANY form of abuse, so removing Ameer from the band was the right decision. Too often men face little to no repercussion for sexual misconduct, more so if they have a platform, so this move by the band was a step in the right direction.
