GOD this band fucking had EVERYTHING going for them. The signing to RCA and the whole shebang with Ameer fucked up the lot. Hurts my soul to think I'll never get to see them live as the full unit.
This shit gives me chills man. We were so close to potentially BH’s magnum opus and everything was looking so good for them with the RCA deal and them blowing up. It’s crazy how it all changed out of nowhere
my favorite era of brockhampton. i ended up downloading close to 30 demos from this era and its one of my most listened brockhampton albums and its not even an album
@FatherJack_ they didn't. There was plans to release PUPPY & that actually broke the group off due to disputes from people. Or it can be assumed at least. Kev was teasing PUPPY merch sometime after RR & on twitter tweeting about releasing it. Then they broke up not too long after, but we do know Kevin talking to Ameer again was an issue with some people.
I think there were two versions of READY FOR WAR. This one has no strings and no Ciaran outro. I think the album version might've had a different mix also. Still great to watch!
The fact this never officially released is criminal. This is their best song and know it’s only available in low quality and only their hardcore fans know it.
I LOVE KEVIN DOAN OMGGGDHSHSGSGWGW Edit: we are so close, SO CLOSE to a studio version of RFW…SO CLOSE!!! Another Edit: I wish EmpLemon could make a "Never Ever" Video about BH :(
Seeing dom hype on Ameer’s verse. 😕🥲 hopefully one day that can reconcile their differences and move forward together. Everyone makes mistakes and has a chance to redeem themselves. Ameer was young. I’m not saying he was right but he can still do right in the world with guidance and understanding. One love BH army. 🤘🥰
Bruh am I the only one who feels like this version would have been way better without the Kevin vocals layered over Ameers verse. Don’t cover up the verse like that it’s a fire verse
lmao man wrote verses and literally nothing else. Kevin, Q3, and Romil made most of the music with contributions from Bearface and Joba. The rest basically did verses and Ameer did one thing 90% of the time until this song - rap about selling drugs with the same flow. When he rapped about different stuff it was good like TEETH and this but it's rare. He's no more important than Dom and Matt and Dom is easily the most skilled lyricist/rapper out of those three.
