Io (growl's girl), Kagura (scream's girl) Tsubaki and Ayame are the clean vocals, but Io an Kagura singing too with them

Harsh vocals are provided by two of these and cleans by all four of them during choruses as far as I know. This peculiar structure was actully used by Nemophila in the music video "Revive" to which you reacted a few weeks ago. I would probably recommend "Broken By The Scream - KI・RA・I !! - Live in Tokyo" from this whole ensemble. :-)

Broken by the Scream are really cool. They are one of several crazy alt-idol groups in Japan. Hoping to see some Lovebites on your channel again also.

I couldn't wait to see this when you brought it up last night on the live stream. I found them when I was watching Hanabie We Love Sweets on RU-vid and their Broken by the Scream, Saynoras Birthday was in the side suggestion list, of course I clicked on it and was blown away. Then watched more of their vids and I really like their vid Broken By The Scream -アイハキミノモノ- (Aihakiminomono) Eng: (Love is yours). I would recommend checking that one out. I swear only the Japanese can think out of the box when it comes to their way of approaching metal. When I was in bands we never would have even considered anything like this and probably would never be able to blend it so seamlessly like they do. I am in between you two I give this vid it a 9 out of 10. I am always blown away when these petite little Japanese girls belt out with the screams and growls it's so unnatural and I love it.

You won't hear anything like this from an American or European metal bands cause they don't experiment and are accustomed to traditions. Metal music should and must evolve.

Hi Mat and Chels! I really enjoy this video, your reactions seems very honest. It's was a fun ride as you said, very unique and talented band and I share Mat's opinion that this is what you would get if Babymetal matured. You could listen to PENUMBRA - Tormento(video) it's a new rock/metal band, I'd love to know your opinion about them. Cheers from Argentina!
