I can only imagine the conversation from post session with (insert semi interested family member who was not present) going something like this: How was it? Good. Do anything interesting? We spent the entire session running away from skyscraper sized chain links... 😶 In all seriousness though, this was amazing! Fantastic encounter design Jefferson! The rolls for the chain direction were crazy! My heart rate was definitely higher by the end of this episode. Thanks guys!
Haha I literally had that exact conversation with my significant other after the session was over! Haha! Afterwards though I had to convince them that somehow it was crazy intense and still was a super fun episode...I don't think they believed me though! Haha! But it really was a great episode! My heart was racing the entire time!
Can’t beat a Tom Cruise run! It also made me think of that episode of SpongeBob where Patrick and SpongeBob are running and Patrick gets lassoed away 😂 When Jefferson said my hands are sweaty I immediately thought of that song! And then after I thought of Harry Potter, “your hands all sweaty!” What a wild episode!!! Man those dice rolls and the fact that everyone was literally already one hit away from dying was just insane!!! That 10!!! Oh my gosh! Who knew an episode of running from chains would be so exciting! After Zayne said his dog was at his feet sleeping I was trying to decide if the little breathing/snoring was the dog or Conner and Shay’s baby! 😂 either way super cute!

Yondu, Mary Poppins, Calen it’s the same 😂 That gust of wind from Shay was crucial for them. I don’t think the party would have made it. On top of that Alandros with all his spell slots and free spells were a game changer too. Good use of utility and lots of creativity! Good job guys! Zane running for his life the whole time and collapsing once he was safe was such a real moment 😂 I was dead. Great job everyone and awesome encounter Jeff! Awesome episode!
Haha so good! Ya that gust of wind was a game changer! There really were some great used of spells and abilities from the party! It was fun to see it all go down (giant chain pun intended).
