I hope you will enjoy my new video, Broken Coffee Grinder Restoration - Philadelphia Enterprise.
I bought this very old coffee grinder in my local antique shop for 200 bucks because i thought it was very cool and would look really nice in my kitchen after some restoration work.
I really went all in on this one and gave it the look i wanted, black / gold.
Many hours of work on this one and it works really good.

Wow dude. Best complete and classiest restoration I’ve seen on RU-vid in years. Love the black and gold theme. Others paint them with funky pastel colors and only do half assed cosmetic restoration. Good job.

I happen to be an American and I know this coffee grinder is as well but regardless of where it's from, you did 1 hell of a job bringing it back to life. Certainly the best grinder restoration I've seen and maybe the best restoration as well!

Gorgeous work! Not sure I'd've gone black instead of going with the original blue color. Also, thankfully there are decent brands of mini-lathes that are great these days and hugely upgradable.

I’ve restored a few of these #7’s but not to the extent you have. I left many of the casting flaws intact because I felt they added to the originality of the piece and I repainted using original red, blue and gold scheme. Decal sets are available (for approx. $75.00) if you want to bring back to “as built” appearance. In a copy of a 1904 Enterprise catalog I have, it shows the original selling price of $11.00, which amazes me! Great job on your restoration!

Wow, vilken kvalité på videon!!! Riktigt bra redigerat och inte minst riktigt bra jobbat med själva "restoration"-delen. Riktigt häftig pryl och slutresultatet blev grymt. An absolutely beautiful restoration Jocke! 🍻 My only question... why did you not restore it to the original colour of blue? The high gloss black certainly looks modern and chic, but I feel that returning this piece to it's original colours would've been a more appropriate decision. - Dave

Hi Dave! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. First of, I understand and respect your opinion but the simple answer is that I don’t like the original colors. But I love the combination of high gloss black and brass and it fits in perfectly in our kitchen where the grinder now has the best spot. 😊 // Jocke

It’s just an old kitchen cabinet with 2 different filters and a powerful fan. 😊 Yes the gas pump turned out good to 😊

You did such a beautiful job. You spent a lot of time and effort giving a new life to this beauty. But... Why on god's green earth did you put that white knob on top? After all that specific effort you put into uniformity. Why didn't you make a wooden one, or a black one, that goes with everything else? 😭 I really want to know what you were thinking.

Restoration process and skill was superb! Can't help but wonder - the original color was blue, and at sometime was repainted red ..... WHY did you choose to finish it in BORING black rather than either its original color, or even its secondary color, red???. Either would have been even more superb and certainly MUCH more preferable. FWIW, and IMO, of course ..... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
