I have finally made a Damian Wayne video! I know some don't like him much, but he has always been my favourite Robin. I really feel for him. He is just a child who had no control over his upbringing and had to unlearn nearly everything he was taught. I find his character development amazing!
This video primarily focuses on his toxic relationships with his grandfather, mother, and father. But then it was getting to depressing so I threw in a few of his healthy relationships 😂 I can't make a batfamily video without including dick & dami content.

I feel like the comics and all the adaptations in general never make enough emphasis on how Damian is a child who was abused his entire life

God the voiceovers and the scenes are used so well! And adding the comics into it all just made this ten times better! This is my favorite edit from you by far! Incredible!

I loved this!!! I don't understand why people don't like Damian, he's such an interesting character and the DCAMU universe did such an amazing job portraying him and showing how much he grew. I loved that you showed the pain of his character and this song suited it really well. Glad you put some happy scenes too 😆 your editing is superb as always

Yeah I don’t understand the hate either… I think it’s mainly Tim fans who don’t like him because how Damian tried to kill him a few times when he was first introduced but I could be wrong. Thank you so much for your lovely comment ☺️

@@xeccentric Oh my gosh he did?! Ngl I've never read the comics, only followed the animated films and TV shows. I think people find him 'stuck-up' but I feel it's just part of his charm and it adds to his development later down the line. Of course, I always look forward to your edits, I can tell you put a lot of thought in them and it always comes across, plus the effects and the way you present each scene is done so beautifully. I'm not a vid expert, but I can see you've got a lot of talent, so thank you for sharing it with us! ☺️

Nah it’s that outside of this storyline, Damien is really made unlikable, Damien in this storyline was done perfectly and if like for many this was the first storyline where you experienced Damien for the DCAU then you’d like him

I really love this!! Soo beautiful!! Showcases Damian's complicated connections with his toxic family members and how that messed him up. Especially how all that abuse very much influenced how he saw the world especially in the beginning of his journey. I love the bits of Dick and Damian's precious relationship too! I love the inclusion of the more healthier connections he has like Jon Kent. Anyways, this is amazing!!❤

Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️ I always felt for Damian and I feel like it’s sometimes overlooked that he is a victim of abuse and all his actions are a result of that abuse. I’m also a big fan of Dick and Damian’s relationship so I couldn’t exclude it even if I tried 😂 I also wanted to show how Damian and Jon’s relationship has become a bit strained as well since Jon’s age-up (I’ll never forgive DC for that) despite them having a good relationship in the past. @@xeccentric Awwww!! I'm glad!! Yessss exactly!! Many people do tend to overlook Damian's abuse. Which is frustrating because that explains a lot of his actions especially at the beginning. How he was originally raised and traumatized impacted how he connects and interacts with others like Bruce and Dick. As someone who loves Dick and Damian's father/son big brother/little brother dynamic, I love those parts in the video. Yeah I also hated how they aged up Jon! Like why!!
