Filmed on July 5, 2019: With GucciPowerGrizzlyBearDopeAF. This is something I NEVER see anywhere in the USA! I was kind of disappointed that it was broken with one barricaded off, but at least we were able to walk up and down on the steps at least. Installed in 1987.

You've found a rare gem. Seems like Hitachi elevators and escalators are rare outside Asia. Here in Thailand, there are load and load of Hitachi elevators and escalators. (I've just riding them around afternoon today (GMT+7) actually lol)

I believe all the 1s in the U.S. were installed by Dover. I believe the elevator here's a Dover.

I'm guessing 1 of the companies approached the other & made a partnership for Dover to install Hitachi's escalators.

I am extremely fascinated that America has Hitachi. I don't think there's any Hitachi products in America at all. This is extremely rare.

The Starks Building in Louisville also had Hitachi escalators, but sadly they’re probably going to be removed during the current renovations.

The Escalator Steps are probably getting new wheels. This is just an Inspection. Who Services these? These are also Dover/Hitachi!!
