Was about to purchase my fourth Keurig. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I like the convenience of this thing. Took your advice, bitch slapped it a few times and we’re back in business over here! Amen brother!
I must admit, I had little faith that this would work on my coffee maker, but it's the only method I could use as I was short on time. I WAS AMAZED IT WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Excellent video... short, to the point, with useful information. Thanks again. Point of caution to others using this method, be prepared for a substantial amount of water to drain from the coffee maker as you bang it upside down.
I gotta be honest, I was laughing at you as you were shaking and hitting it thinking that's never going to work. And guess what? It f'ing worked! Thanks man! You are the king. I watched 9 other videos before I came across yours. Your title is 100% appropriate and accurate. Job well done.
Thanks. After watching this a few times, I guess I could've done without the introduction and just shook it to start with. Video would've been only about 10 seconds. Thanks for the support.
I cant belive it!!! I tried everything to get my machine to work and then I tried your scientific method of beating the machine and voila it brews coffee again- unbelivable...Thanks for posting
Yay!. Also, see my other video on "COFFEE HACK"..you can just make a larger hole in the bottom of the cup with a golf tee or pin or something sharp. Then it works every time.
Thanks for the information. Mine stopped working this morning. I was online looking for another one. Then I was watching RU-vid and came across your video. My Keurig working better than before. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching. The other technical ways to fix the machine are too hard and don't work most of the time. Shaking and hitting works (almost) every time.
I had the same issue today with my Keurig machine and now it's working after using your fixing method 🤣🤣 You just saved me from buying another coffee machine! 😅🤣🤣😂 thank you for making this video 🤗
Thank you so much! This worked perfectly to fix my mom’s Keurig today! Being it’s Thanksgiving, we were going to be stuck without any coffee, so this video was truly a God send!
It WORKS!!!!! I like so many others was watching your video and laughing very entertaining. Never thought it would work, but after trying everything, this is what I turned to and awesome it works! 😊
This was my last ditch effort to fix it after I tried all the RU-vid suggestions (which do not work). Just beat the machine until it works. Glad I could help. :)
I was skeptical when I first started watching this as I had tried a few other ideas on how to fix the problem. My wife laughed at me when I began the shakedown. After a few minutes of work, I plugged it back in and wallah! It was back to normal!
i cant believe that worked! my keurig kept turning off after i hit the brew button and was looking for troubleshooting online. i tapped the side of the coffee maker with a pestle and it started working! Thanks!
I cannot believe this worked. Mine has not brewed correctly for months and finally stopped today and ive tried the compressed air and unclogging the needles and this helped! 😊
I was so frustrated with our Keurig this morning, watched your video, and just like the previous commenter wasn’t sure the ‘shake it off‘ method would work, but it did! The first time, I didn’t shake it very much and it only worked once, but then I mimicked your shaking/whacking and it ran for me. Can’t thank you enough!
Brilliant! Mine was only putting out 1/3 - 1/2 the volume of a large coffee cup selection. I ran the vinegar and water rinse, unplugged it and shook it upside down as suggested. I followed up with a nice cleanup job in the sink, dried it, and filled the reservoir. Works like new. My sweetie said to tell you "Thank you!" as she is the coffee drinker in the house. Now I have to figure out another gift for Christmas. *Egads*
Yup, I watched the overflow video, too, and had high hopes. All little prongs cleaned out, all stray grounds gone, I already had figured out a bit of thumping often improved things but...aha...upside down...let gravity help! Thanx so much....
Very good idea. I've been removing the screws on the bottom, removing the screen in the water inlet valve, and then rincing the screen under water. Then put everything back together. This takes about 1/2 hour.
Bought a keurig from a yard sale for 5$ figured it was broke when I bought it which it wasn’t working just found your video and tried and vwah la it works 🎉🎉🎉
I have the K-Express Essentials myself and this morning no water was coming out with the same noise you have. After trying a few things like using a paper clip on my needle, it was not even going on descaling mode. So anyway I end-up doing what you just did, shaking it in every direction and then I left it upside down for a while and there we go it's was working again. So yes your trick, this trick works.
My partner sent me this video. I told them there was NO way this works. Like 0 chance this works... Needless to say yep it worked for me and I got more coffee in my then I'd normally get. Thank you, never would I of even thought about beating it until it worked.
I honestly thought this was a troll video but I was desperate and already considering buying another machine. I figured why the hell not. If it doesn't work/breaker the machine even more it wouldn't matter as I was prepared to buy a new machine. Thank you and I'm sorry I doubted you. Perhaps you should consider pinning my comment or adding it to your video description so that other people looking for a solution can see that it's not a joke/troll video
i flipped it upside down and gave it a spanking and now it is working again thanks to you! this was an oddball - if i put a k-cup in, nothing. if i put no k-cup in, water came out. annoying!
sometimes I need to 'double puncture" the K-cup. 1) put in in, 2) remove and turn, 3) puncture again. Helps with the water flow. Also, good to have a few 'water only' runs to clean out any grinds that get into the needles.
Great Sir, but let me tell you if you disconnect power cord and wait for 10 second and put it back then its works. Your direction is also great. Thanks
The Keurig I have is only used when my daughter comes out. It’s been on my counter for 4 months without any use. I drained the water tank after she left. I’ve shaken the crap out of it, put my finger over the pressure relief dongle, used a scribe to make sure the hole is not clogged and it’s still running but not brewing.
I ended up just throwing my nice Keurig in the trash. I replaced it with a simple $35 unit here, which is also pretty cute and super easy to use with no gimmicks. in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FB7eGDIq5AQ.html
This actually worked!!😂 Thanks for sharing this, was about to buy another coffee pot!.. was also good anger therapy giving this pot a good beating for putting me through this
I tried it twice but failed for me. I think mine is plugged worse. It was ok for months and months until I decided to descale and clean it. I think I broke the stuff loose and its really plugged. I ordered a new one and will take this apart later and get to the packed up plugging in the top section where the hot water cannot get through. Will be interesting, I hope anyways. New one is smaller as I am n=by myself. It does k-cups, loose leaf tea and reg java grounds. So will be fun seeing if it works for me. Thanks for the video! It did make me laugh and was wondering if you were serious OR maybe at the end just smash it on the ground as a prank. Seems it works for almost everyone so great job!!
I’ve tried everything including squeezing the tube and turning over and shaking which made a lot of water come out but no dice still does not work. mine is 10 years old and I’ve always managed to trouble shoot. I can’t access screws to get to tubes. They look like screw bolts and just can’t get access to them to get-off. Can’t get over the price now is at least 4 times what I paid. Spent 3 days think it’s time to give up. Glad this worked for everyone. Oh I didn’t mention I only use it for hot water now and have changed refrig water filter and charcoal filter in coffee machine. Have very hard water!
Sorry. Try ONE more time Hail Mary attempt. Turn it upside down, shake it a lot and beat it all over the sides and the tops. If it doesn't work, then just toss it out. For my coffee maker, I only use filtered drinking water in jug-size bottles from the store. Gets expensive, though.
I have only used it twice and it worked fine. I tried your advice and it still won't work. This is my second one. They are more trouble than they are worth.
What’s with the hat? Had four Keurig coffee makers that stopped brewing and Keurig would sent me a new one every time I complained. The last new one I received I gave away and purchased a Hamilton Beach that’s been working 5 years with no issues. That was the best fix for us!
I tried compressed air and descaling and none of it worked! Mine currently does exactly what yours did. It would pump a little bit when you put your finger over the vent tube. I'm going to try yours tomorrow and let you know
Well....did beating the unit on the side and flinging it upside down work? (Also, try a couple of dry runs without the coffee inserted just to flush out any grit).
@@battlefoxx unfortunately it didn't. I even took the check valve out of the top and took that apart. It pumps but it pumps incredibly small amounts. On an extra large cup it will make about half a cup and it will take about 3 minutes to brew. I'm about ready to hit it almost the point of breaking it since it's a lost cause either way.
Very cool. It will break again, and eventually after kicking and shaking for several cycles and months, you will just end up buying a different one. I ended up just buying a $40 no-frills version from WalMart.
Sometimes coffee grinds will build up causing the lid to not fully close, thus a slow brew or sputter to zero coffee. Shaking the Keurig helps, however, I recommend cleaning the interior area under the pod holder area is ideal.
Haha! I'm looking for a reasonably technical way to fix the Keurig, and this is what I find??? Turn it over and shake it??? Looks like I have to keep looking...
