(forgot to comment on the video itself any earlier, orz) for those who are wondering in the comments, 1.) there is no part 2 because i don't plan on drawing one 2.) this is NOT based off of an existing fic, though i'm sure there's similarities to some out there; this is a very explored concept with both bkg and deku's characters 3.) this is based off of the manga - i drew this after the release of chapter 298

I could not agree more with your impression!🌟 Unfortunately, his lack of or resistance to empathy is potentially the product of being raised with the misconception that to show any negative emotions (besides rage and disgust) - or to care for the wellbeing of others - is a sign of weakness 😟 Lets just say alot about his personality makes sense when the almost identical behavior of his mother is considered😅
They had us the first half, not going to lie. But for real though, this really showed the amount of guilt and regret on his shoulders. Everything he's done to Deku now haunts his present.
Because the sad truth is that while Izuku knew alot about Bakugo they were never real friends and as such Bakugo never learned much to nothing about Izuku until U.A

@Dynan Attanayake no no i meant the "will you only love me when i'm dead" line i'm actually caught up with the manga well past the scene the comic was referencing-- tbh it hit hard specifically cuz i knew what manga scene it was 🥲 i miss bakugou😔

I mean. It is true. Now he will get to be the number one hero. That's what he ever wanted anyway. If Deku dies. He just needs to surpass Todoroki. I don't think he would even remember Izuku. Since he thinks of him as a pebble in his road anyway.
I love how they set this as a coma dream and it's like Bakugou's guilt reminding him that he and Deku were friends because even though they're good now, it doesn't erase everything Bakugou did or said.
“Will you only truly love me when I’m dead?” The sad thing about this is that Bakugou’s love for Deku only really started coming out when they were about to die.
So we see 3 stages of Izuku in his mind. First it looks like when Izuku tried helping Bakugo up from the stream. Second seems like the sludge villain. Third is when they fought in the city at night.

You know fun fact it takes Deku years and I mean YEARS to try and be Bakugou friend yet nothing still, and for Kiri it only took a month and it’s very sad cause of that
Considering he’s not screaming at the child in a rage I take it this is a Bakugo from an even further future where he decided to act like a human being.
I feel very sad to Deku cuz hes been wanting and trying harrder to be friends with Bakugou but nothing works until now, from Kiri it only took fast and its very unfair for Deku
Omg the voice acting was so phenomenal!!! And the art!! Im starting on animatics myself and want to get into MHA animatics, but Im not quite good enough yet.
