2013 Honda Accord EX-L 4cyl. At the time, I did not know what all of these lights meant, turns out it was a broken wheel bearing. You will notice a louder whirling sound coming from the exterior when driving. I had a "FCW failure" indication come on along with multiple lights.

UPDATE: It was a broken wheel bearing which is why ABS sensor came on

Striker 50 thank you for the advice this start happening to my car this week i belive its the same thing i will take it to my mechanic and have him check that 🙏🏼

@@willysanchez3621 Hope it was the bearing! Easy fix. If it is a wheel bearing, you will hear a "whirring" sound. Lower your windows and drive like 25 mph and you should hear it.

This video has help me a lot.this issue happen to me yesterday . I was on highway and I pass this slow car which I did but it speed up to a point where we were racing .i manage to press more acceleration where he keep tailgating me.so as I pass him and he was accelerating too the collision warning came up and all those light came on expect the abs and I started to loose acceleration.so I pull over and saw that it said FCW system fail .i try giving Gas but it would not go more the 5mph .i didn’t go from there,and decided to call a tow truck.i did some research and that vsa modulator which controls most everything will cost $1100.16 . Also the check engine came up too.Before I take it to dealer I will scan the code to see why the check engine came on.and yes mostly for Honda’s cars have this issue .my car has 80,345 miles year 2014.thank again

@@feli90gomez67 Of course 👍 It's better to find out what it is first before spending more money than you have to. If it's a wheel bearing, you can hear a "whirl" noise coming from outside the car. A lot of shops plug in computers for free and can tell you if you have a bad Abs sensor or broken wheel bearing

I have the same car and I have all the light on except the ABS LIGHT. I check the fuse, take off the battery to reset car computer, change the spark plug, fill the brake fluid, and did a intake cleaning for the valve. These are all I did from the research I gather that works for some people and the my car light and fcw failure is still on. I have not touch the ABS MODULATOR yet but that might be next. Before I change it. I might just by some electric cleaner and clean the plug and let it dry. Some say it’s just moisture trap inside. Mine came on when I have a car wash and the underbody was splash. I didn’t do ABS sensor yet either but that fix help some people. I heard it could be the wheel bearing but some say it still comes on after they fix it. I am really surprise that Honda is not issuing a recall. This lights are showing up on newer generation accord as well. I’ve been driving my car for over 6 months now with the lights on but it it annoying to see and I keep trying to see what more I need to do. I’m not mechanical in any way but I cant justified myself paying 1600 to 2200 to change the ABS modulator. I might have to fork out for abs sensor or wheel bearings though.

Drive at low speeds 15-25mph with the windows slightly down and see if you hear a whirling noise coming from the wheels. For me it was a wheel bearing that once I replaced (I think it was under $300 at Pep Boys) the lights all turned off

Also, make sure not to mess with the car too much because you might make another issue from changing fluids, etc. that were not the problem to begin with if that makes sense

Striker 50 thanks but I’m due an intake valve cleaning. I have over 150k miles. I didn’t realize the direct engine need to clean out the carbon until I did research for fcw failure. I use to just Techron fuel system treatment and that will clean the injectors but it’s different with the direct injection engine. Nobody’s really tell you this. I guess it normal in European cars. 2013 is the first year Honda have direct injection engine. Anyways food for thought. Later

Just checking in, I have the same issue. No ABS light or brake light. Mechanics sounds wheel bearings and all suspension components to be fine. I even replaced the battery and its terminals and that did nothing. Thoughts?

Was the ABS workin’ when fcw system failed popped in? I am having the same problem, and all these warning lights are going off. Moreover abs is not workin’ at all. When i set the cruise, it doesn’t apply the brakes on downhills . I went to a local mechanic and he told me it’s a problem with ABS, and it will cost me over 1000. Please enlighten me on this.

I never set cruise control, or used the brakes hard enough to notice In my case it ended up being a wheel bearing. It's pretty easy to tell if one of your wheel bearings is out because you'll hear a soft grinding when you start driving at about 15 miles an hour or more

Make sure to go to a few mechanics. A proper one will diagnose it and possibly tell you that it could be a wheel bearing which is about $150-$250 with labor

Just the same error today suddenly after getting into the pothole first traction control light and then FCW etc list start coming. i have done rest remove batter thermals nothing works.. so now i want to ask can I drive the car in this situation? or need to tow ? its safe to drive ? no engineer check light ac is working and car also working..

@@dannyonnet86 It should still be good to drive. Perhaps one of the sensors on the brake caliper was damaged which is causing this. It may be able to be diagnosed by a local mechanic with a good scan tool

Update: i leave the negative terminal disconnect over night In Morning connect it and and start the Car same error was there heading towards mechanic only after 500 meters Suddenly all warnings light went off all come to normal, i can’t believe i stop the car give a restart and all it okay!! Everything's fine so far, but I'm a little worried why it happened.

Would the lights come on all the time in your case? They come on whenever I’m idle for a long period of time and they go away when i turn the car off/on and start driving.

They come on as soon as I start the car and start driving. I'm guessing the reason for that is because your ABS sensor (brake senor) needs to see your wheel bearing start moving before it can say "uhh ohh warning. Something is wrong" and gives all of the lights. Once it has happened, it saves it in the computer until it's fixed. If the wheel bearing is broken, the abs sensor reads that something isn't accurate when you're driving. You can also hear a whirl noise when you're driving. Especially easy to hear around 10-25mph I would take it into a shop and just have them hook it up to a computer. A lot of shops might be able to do that for free. Just say I might have a bad abs sensor or wheel bearing

@@Striker50_ I had my front wheel bearing replaced not too long ago and the mechanic said my rear had little life left. There’s a lot of different answers out there when it comes to all these lights coming on! Getting the bearing fixed tomorrow and hopefully this solves it all!

@@Striker50_ In my case I hear the whirl noise and my wheel starts vibrating around 50-60 so I’ve been avoiding high speeds

Mine was back right
