I was today years old when I even knew there was another version…. I knew you couldn’t get this on Apple Music which is what I use and pay for…so I’ve been coming back to this very video for yearssssssss lol anyways I just went and listened to the version you mention and I’m comparison I just can’t listen to that other version. Wish I could download this one

@@FATA-zv4eo honestly, I rip the mp3 from the video and put it on my iTunes. When it comes to unreleased or exceedingly hard to find tracks, what else can a fan do? I do support the releases stuff, but I like the other stuff too. This version of this song is dedicated to my best friend so I need it in my life.

wow, just so many emotions flooding me while listening. i remember listening to this when i was 10/11 and i had an english class when we were supposed to translate a song and i choose this one (i'm swedish so i translated it to my mother tongue). i still had no idea of what the hell the song was about but now, 13 years later i have a whole other understanding of myself, my emotional connection to this song and also all the beautiful lyrics.

I've been somewhat of an atheist for quite some time but I was raised in family that typically went to church on Sundays and the whole deal. But just because I don't necessarily believe in God doesn't change my opinion of Flyleaf and similar bands. Their music has helped me through years of mental health issues and self injury. Without them I'd probably be lost or dead. Their music is beautiful to me.

Their faith in Christ is their inspiration and thus is reflected in many of their songs, however they brilliantly write their songs to remind any person, christian or not, to enjoy life and keep having faith in life itself, whatever their inspiration might be.

I remember listening to this when I was in high school (like 12 years ago) and still sounds as emotional & beautiful as the day I fell in love with this. There are hundreds of versions of this song and I do love the version they released and put in New Horizons (which everyone was waiting for), but this one always takes me back to the days I was riding my bicycle at night trying to get lost in the dark, which is, to cheapen what it actually was, such an emo thing to do lol, but I needed these moments and this track was always there for me.

I can tell you that Flyleaf is my all time favorite band forever. I haven't been listening them for a while now, but they're still always in my heart. Always when I felt that I'm not good enough, or I just felt like everything is totally messed up, Flyleaf helped me. Their music has always been my saver.

Accidentally came across Flyleaf...never heard of them until now but I LIKE them A lot!!! Very cool! Not sure what the deal is over God but I Too VERY MUCH SO BELIEVE in God and I love him very much!! We all have the right to believe in whatever or whomever we choose right....I'm just saying.
