It is beyond terrifying to imagine Brokenstar killing his father repeatedly until he is completely dead. Why in the world did StarClan approve of him as the next leader? StarClan is dumb. Anyway, great job!

Bruh I was crying at that scene because it was that he knew he was gonna die and worst of all he never should have been there! It was a careless death that wasn’t entirely flintfangs fault but he still took accountability for his part in it and made sure he didn’t make that mistake again!
This made Brokenstar even more interesting of a villain; yes his childhood doesn't excuse his actions later in life, but the way you retold the story makes one wonder if he had a good life, would he still be evil? (Probably yes because influence and all, but you know)
I like to imagine an alternative timeline where he didn’t have to deal with the bullying and harassment from his adopted mother and clanmates while also not being allowed to get away with so much because of his father I imagine he would still be inclined towards fighting I made a au where this happens but he is warned by starclan what he would do in the future and it would scare him to become a medicine cat for a short time Giving him the opportunity to learn patience, honor and responsibility He then goes to be a warrior but promises himself to stay off that path I imagine he became a sociopath because he was never really shown much love from a young age

25 minutes of animation, about Brokenstar?! This is epic and pure dedication! Good job! Brokenstar may not be my favorite, but I could see he was more of a broken villain than a pure evil one. I mean, Lizardstripe clearly neglected him and he was bullied by other kits as well. All this aside, you did a great job, and the megamind meme at the end says it all.
This is so cool, as a person who never got to finish Yellowfang's secret, this was so cool! I knew what happened in the rest but I missed details, like I never saw the gathering scene where Brokenpaw attacked a cat, so thank you!
I think Starclan making Brokenstar leader was a punishment - not for Yellowfang who tried to curb his violence, but Raggedstar, who saw it but chose yo ignore it. Ignoring Nightpelt's and Yellowfang's concerns? Choosing to let him be hostile and trying to get him out of all troubles he got himself into? Breaking the warrior code just to promote his son over everyone else TWICE? He should've known Brokentail wasn't loyal, and took situations Brokentail himself created - even ones where it's clear as day Brokentail was the only one in the wrong for, and let it slide. Any reasonable leader would've tried to curb his actions - not making him a warrior, keeping him an apprentice for longer than even the kits born after him, never even considering giving him an apprentice of his own if he had to be made a warrior. But Raggedstar was after the family Ruinion Speedrun

@@-Ari._.Official- Long tail in the books is described as Silver and Brown, he’s not white, and drawing him blonde is a nod to the SSS warrior cats series. Either way early in the series he was just described as a “pale tabby” if I’m remembering correctly; which is very vague, hence the blonde.
I love every little detail from the book this has. Like brokenkit pretending to be a tree, him stealing mosss and Yellowfang telling him to search behind the elders den and the badge-stinky part with the kits. Plus, at the start raggedstar did say exactly ‘,he’s not unwanted, he’s my son’
This was a masterpiece. So much emotion into just 25 minutes of animation. Badgerfang’s death, flintfang’s expressions, the ending…it’s all perfect and perfectly portrays brokenstar’s story. My favorite part was the symbolism of raggedstar losing all his lives though.

Long comment ahead, this means a lot to me, it's so cool, I gotta write a whole essay here Five minutes in, and as per usual with your animations, it's really showing some of the most forgotten scenes that are so iconic to me, I love this so much Yellowfang's Secret is a comfort book for me, for reasons I cannot explain, that I even bought it in my native language, it's such a treat to see so many of my favorite scenes animated so well As I side note I love how you animated Brokentail's face scratch at minute 10, so nice :) Brokenstar my little second favorite guy my favorite bad guy. I love how you did the Frogtail thing!! That's how I imagined it exactly!! Hype!! And I do love the behind-the-scenes... Scenes, too. Brokentail taking his fathers lives one by one, him yelling at Frogtail, training stuff... Lovely Mosspaw death scene... Oof... Lovely animated, just as I imagined it, good job I feel so bad for all of the kits, Mintkit and Marigoldkit especially, I'm fairly certain they were like a moon old if not less when Brokenstar killed them... Did not expect you to make it so graphic but it fits, its good, its accurate Brokenstar blinding moment!! He's such a snail, hiding his face in his paws and begging not to be killed after causing so much pain. 10/10 Always loved that, you made it so expressive And there it goes, Brokentailstar death... i know im late but i love this. the terror in brokenstaras eyes when yellowfangs says she would tell lizardstripe the other kits were being mean shows that his surroundings made him evil, he didint just randomly decide to be evil like SOME villans. Raggedstar probaly was the one to convice him of the fighting stuff though. Great work!

This is the third time I’ve watched this, and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everything was well drawn, and even though all the scenes were done well, I especially loved the Badgerfang bit.
The thing with badgerpaw and flintfang almost made me cry, man Honestly tho, this whole thing is amazing. The way you can make me emotional with visual, words, cats' tiny mews, and silence.
I felt rage watching this, even though broken’star may be some old tabby leader who brutally kills his clan mates … made me want to cry, all the killing and drama he caused to his life is just traumatic.
this is like. so underrated oh my god?? The animation is wonderful, and I absolutely love the little cat sounds you added. The backgrounds are wonderfully drawn and just the overall feel of this video and the animation is wonderful. I fully cried during the scene at 19:23, it was so emotional the way you animated it. I love how there isn't any music fully presented in the video. I'm not sure if that was intentional or you just didn't know what to add, but I appreciate how it's just the cat sounds and the impact panels giving the emotions. Another thing I want to add is how you forwarded the story and how you sectioned/timed it (I most likely worded that wrong sorry lolol). As someone who has only read a few Warrior books (but I know the main story due to watching animations when I was around 10/11 lmao), I could fully tell what was going on. I also love how you included RaggedStar's lives counting down at 14:11 with the 9-pointed star, it was very creative and a very good way to show it this is probably one of the best Warrior Cats animations i've seen, if not the #1 best. Please don't ever stop making these videos, especially if you enjoy making them (Also, the ending meme with Megamind was really funny and I enjoyed how you added it in) All in all, you've DEFINITELY earned a sub, and another one from my main RU-vid account if I'm able to log into it! (sorry if this sounds sarcastic I'm genuinely in love with this video /gen)
i think both those things contributed to how he turned out. The bullying left him with a lot of anger and Raggedstar encouraged him to follow in his footsteps while not doing anything to address it There’s also something to be said about being abused by a foster parent since ending up in foster care is in itself traumatic and you’re supposed to be safe. Hearing Lizardstripe complain about how much she hates him and her denying him milk probably didn’t help with his feelings of inferiority
@@absolutelygoobing well, I remember reading the book where it happened, and even after he said he wanted to be Badgerfang the book said Badgerpaw, and it isn’t confirmed if he got his warrior name or not.
i watched all through this, and its safe to say you are VERY underrated. i mean, you literally made a whole movie for us! this is absolutely amazing. your work is so inspiring and well made! i love how everything is animated, its so satisfying to see their movements. im proud if you. 💝

the kits,his father and so many others he killed didnt deserve to do like that way. I felt so bad at the first few mins about brokenstar when he was a kit,getting so many rude comments but as the video moved on,i was traumatized of what i saw he did and what he made have done. i may have got some spoilers at the few minutes when the video ended though- ALSO LOVE THE VIDEO AND THE EFFORT YOU PUT FOR IT!!
Brokenstar was horrible but it kind of made me think of Pinestar. Like in Bluestars book, he also sent Bluepaw and Snowpaw to the battle, when they had been kits two days ago. and they were just as messengers but there were other cats who could fight who could do the job
