The Brokpas' need that nutritious milk to make cheese and butter, since that's their only means for bread and butter.
The way these nomadic Yak herders live their live is very simple, self sufficient, self sustainable, resilient, hard working and mostly alone away from their villages and families.
Once, the main profession of people from Monpa community were nomadic yak and sheep herders but these days only few families pursue this profession.
