The original creator for Broly said that not even Beerus could defeat Broly. Hence why Toriyama wrote what Goku said at the end of the Super movie, “you might even be stronger than Lord Beerus, he is a destroyer god” although I’m sceptical of that. But for me Broly is the embodiment of Saiyan power it it’s purest form. Essentially a god among his own kind. Banished from a race of warriors for being too powerful. Not many Saiyans can say that.
