Hi Laurie, Various bottle holders are seen throughout the video: 00:36 This one is on a Birdy bicycle. It was purchased a while back, so we don’t have the exact model. It’s somewhat similar to this one on Amazon.com (amzn.to/3tlQSwS). It would have to be facing the rider if you want to fold the Brompton 02:00 This one was purchased in a Walmart (USA) (www.walmart.com/ip/Zefal-Pulse-Expandable-Water-Bottle-Bike-Cage-Universal-Mounting/410582901?adsRedirect=true) . We also used the same bottle holder on the top tube in some occasions. 02:10 Wotancraft Pioneer Water Bottle Pouch (installed in the front of the handlebar)

Thanks for the suggestions. We plan to keep the Brompton videos coming. Concerning “carry-on” Brompton, while some have been successful in storing them in overhead bins, our recent flight experiences (pre-covid that is) usually involved full planes where carry-on storage was at a premium. More than once, we ended up having to shove our bags under the seat in front of us as no more space was available in the overhead bin. Experience with gate check-in wasn’t too enjoyable either, as we ended up having to pick up our baggage on the same conveyor belt as the checked-in luggage at the end of the flight (thus it had been tossed around as casually by baggage handlers as any other items). Successfully travelling with a “carry-on” Brompton is certainly worthy of a Instagram post and offers some bragging rights to the lucky passenger, but we wouldn’t rely on such a strategy to begin a long-awaited enjoyable vacation.

It is indeed a Frank Lloyd Wright house, but this one (Martin House) is located in Buffalo ( martinhouse.org ). We took a guided tour (the visitor center staff kindly offered to take care of our Bromptons).

The BTwin 300 model (2.5L)? Do you install it facing forward or backward?

This fabric bottlecage is indeed excellent. We use it as well on some of our other bikes

@@2Bikes4Adventure I have also used many times the Ortlieb accesories pack who is absolute water proof and can be used as body purse when neded.

Those are fairly common now. We haven’t used any. One point to evaluate would be how easy the phone can be operated while under the clear cover (especially the touch screen). Looking forward to have your feedback.

@@2Bikes4Adventure thank you, I also consider how secure it holds the phone, along with ease of use. The pouch style holding feels much more secure than handlebar clamps.

We cycled from Buffalo to Albany and Plattsburgh to Montreal. The unpaved portions were no problem for the Brompton. It was a little bit trickier during heavy rain, but the Marathon tires provided enough traction. We would strongly recommend the Erie Canal portion. Very nice and easy ride with a some interesting urban area along the way. Most of the trail north of Albany is on road shoulders.

There are no particularly bad parts, but if you had to skip some, we would suggest ignoring any parts that is “on-road”. Be aware of trail maintenance advisories that may introduce less scenic detours at the last minute. Big cities (Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse/Albany) may or may not be interesting depending what you are looking for. If cycling in nature is the goal, feel free to skip them. Any of the “___port” towns between Lockport and Spencerport will be connected by nice stone dust trails. Doing a loop Buffalo/Niagara Falls would make a nice day ride. The portion East of Syracuse (up to Canastota) has nice parks. The portion along the Mohawk River is relaxing (LittleFalls to Cohoes). We purchased the a copy of the Cycling Guide (5th edition) amzn.to/3zHb0KZ prior to departure. We feel it was worth the investment. Enjoy your ride, you won’t regret it.

Could vary based on topography, weather, etc. We are not very fast (stopping here and there for photos, snacks or just to admire the scenery). At the end of the day, we probably average about 15km/h.
