I could have swore there was at least 3 things I liked... haha. Truthfully, I'm a little underwhelmed. But thats just my opinion and I feel like the majority of people love them. Thanks for watching!
After a bit, you won't really mess with the goat modes anymore. You will figure out what you want, 4H or 4L, locker, no locker, or stabar disconnect, and just push the buttons. The goat modes just take longer than just stopping, putting it into neutral, and pushing 4L. About the only one I ever use anymore is "slippery," and that's just when there's a bunch of snow on the road. Offroad, I just put it in the configuration I want manually and drive it. BTW, the absolutely most annoying feature is the double-honk. Before I disabled it, every time I got out of the bronco on a trail to look around, it would double honk at me. It was embarrassing. I'm in a big line of jeeps and stuff and honking around in mountains somewhere. Forscan fixes a lot of the stupid annoying things. 🙂
Yea like you said, I figured I would just select everything manually. I’ve had enough older 4X4s that I’m just used to manual everything anyway. Goat modes seem more like a gimmick to me. I HATE the double honk. I totally agree with you. I need to get Forscan soon. I appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
I did. The problem I find is that people that really like them will say mostly good things about them and gloss over issues. You can also read 1000 forums and it still isn’t the same as owning it and using it. If it’s perfect for you then that’s awesome! Glad to hear it.
@@DBCoffroad trust me I have my gripes, that's any vehicle honestly. But wasn't trying to be mean it just seemed like you were surprised by certain things is all
@@BroncoLife4ever I appreciate the feedback. Some of the video was intended just for new people unfamiliar with it. Some was my experience I just wanted to share. I genuinely I feel like I read through 1000 posts on Bronco6g. And, I was still surprised by several things. Like: the weird engine/electronic noise -What is that? I also hate all of the dash alerts and dings that you have to click OK for. I knew there were going to be "ding" noises, but it seems excessive in person. The sway bar was also more finicky than I thought. But as long as you are in 4x4 it should be ok. The tail gait damping strut threw me for a loop because I thought it would stay open on an incline. But I guess the strut is just to damping opening and closing. Opening the doors without a window frame takes some getting used to for me. It's just different than my 4Runner. Really the only thing to make it better for me would be to quiet the top a bit more on freeway speeds with wind. But that's the cost of owning a removable top, which I totally get. Again, I'm just used to the slightly quieter 4Runner. I appreciate the feedback though. Thank you for watching my video. Just learning and exploring. 🤘🏻
The interior colors wasn’t fords focus on trim levels however it was the expensive off road features you will not find on any other truck. The alerts you have are now required by the Feds. Again you csn unlock all the goat modes. The one thing you paid for in your package was the front camera and sway bar disconnect. You also paid for piped in sound. The best value is a big bend with Sasquatch package and a couple other add ons. However you don’t get sway bar disconnect or front camera. Unless you are off-roading a lot it really isn’t needed. Also if you have gone off road a lot in other trucks you are used to not seeing over the hood at times. If your window is open or doors are off just look out the side to see where your going.
Thanks for watching the whole video. I see our expectations of the Bronco are different. To each their own. Just wanted to make a video with my thoughts and give a general overview.
Thanks for the vid. I’m moving to Vegas and feel a Bronco would be ideal. I will say the alerts would mosdef drive me crazy. Overall, do you still enjoy it? Is your Badlands Sasquatch?
I went to the Bronco Offroadeo that Ford Offers. After that I gained a better appreciation for the Bronco. I love it. So much that I upgraded to a Raptor. 😬 You can see it at the end of this video... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hMpq__mEv_Y.htmlsi=MH6EmVC1M4tPEyzh
Light controls you shouldn’t have to touch if it’s on automatic. I have the big bend with Sasquatch package. Just had all the goat loads activated. They are programmed in all the broncos they just need to be turned on. Mileage depends mostly on your tires in broncos. If you have the 35” tires hurts your mileage.
Glad you are you enjoying the trim you selected. And i'll be changing some things with ForScan. No one expects good gas mileage with 35s. It's just interesting to see how different the numbers are with what everyone reports.
It did. The seal between the rear hatch and middle roof section was leaking. Ford Corporate chose to replace the entire rear hatch section instead of just the seals. So I suspect there was more wrong with the roof than just the seal.
@@palm47 you know, I like that one. Seems like a good choice and I’ve seen the cruise relocation brackets. You might have found the winner. I do kind of like bull bars though. Wonder if one could be added on.
Yes. Sort of. I did some research and most dealerships just take the roof panels off and “realign them”. Mean they take them off and put them back on. So that’s what I did and haven’t had issues. It rained/snowed 3 times since the original leak with no issues.
Which of the two vehicles (the Branco or 4Runner) are you leaning towards keeping? Also have you thought about roof racks? Dual battery & a compressor ?
Honestly I’m not sure. There’s pluses and minus of both. The 4Runner is more comfortable but the transmission bugs me. The Bronco is more capable, but less comfortable and the roof bugs me with the issues I’ve had.
