Great vid. Really curious what you come up with to mount this. I bought that RC brace before other designs came on the market, but I have a few accessories I wouldn't mind mounting to it. Haven't dreamed up a way quite yet - curious to see what you come up with.
Likely going to drill and tap into the RC reinforcement. I think I can utilize a couple of the holes in the jerry can holder but will likey need to makes some more. Definitely will be doing a video on it this spring!
@@TLOverlander Curious if that could have a hanger system in place, I noticed the issue with Jerry can in that spot is you lose your ability to swing the gate out, I was thinking that when you do need to do that, take the can out, then perhaps wing nuts holding the top of the carrier with the bottom being held in place with a hanger solution... Thanks for the video! well done!
@@MikeMiles I was also thinking along those lines. Probably have 2 or 3 hanging "hooks" into the reinforcement and a couple of fasteners just to keep it from coming unhooked, that way there is minimal stress on the hardware. We'll see what we come up with. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
Great video. Thank you. Can you please mention the name of the primer and paint that you used? I have the same RC reinforcement kit and a 90-degree tailgate strut. I would like to mount it there. Thank you
Thanks! Still need to find a tailgate swing limiter before I mount it. The Squatch sticker I got off Etsy... www.etsy.com/ca/listing/885969546/bigfoot-sasquatch-easter-eggs-decals-big
