Solid second half comeback for parra Hats off to Reedy, Paulo and Papali. Parra need a lot to fix sivo, Blake and fergo back to their old ways in defence letting in simple tries and Line breaks ... they start the same next week against the storm they’ll put them too the sword with all that speed. Overall how good is footy being back

Plenty of positives to take away from tonight if you're a Broncos fan. Despite being in a losing team their defense was pretty good for the majority of the game. Mead was outstanding in his comeback NRL game and Jordan Riki was real keen to get into it so was TPJ and Turpin was awesome esp in his tackles and defense. Having said that i think we need a good utility on the bench going forward and I hope Coates and Asiata are okay. Well done to Parra for an amazing come back win and Fergo is just on another level. Great game

from a broncos fan, coates keeps on doing the fancy dives for no reason and got what he deserved, they weren't able to turn momentum and they just can't play a whole 80 minutes, but still looking better than where we left off

My Broncos got potential but they got to finish games, play the full 80.

Some good signs for the Broncos. They showed they can score points, but there’s still question marks with their defence. Milford remains hot and cold. Meade played well. The Eels just had too much class and desire, and played like a team that has been performing well for a few seasons under a fairly stable roster and coaching outfit. Although I’m a Rabbitohs member I recognise the need for a healthy Broncos.

Was always going to be a tough ask keeping parra out for the full 80. Yeah the broncs gave up a 16 point lead, they had a 15 minute period where there was just no leadership and parra piled on the points. It may seem like a glimpse of last year but I saw positives from the boys that have me hope they can improve on last year. The spine looked pretty descent In attack and defense for a good part of the game, there was fight in the boys when parramatta suffocated the ball in the second half and kept making the broncs work out of thier 30 especially with only 14 boys for most of the second half. Mead was great, Turpin was a gun and Croft has shown that he has earned his halves spot back, and thier was just some golden opportunities that went begging in that last 30 that could have shifted momentum for the boys. Against the third placed parra from last year it was always a tough ask, but there is potential and belief. Tough loss but looking forward to the year ahead.

Coates f@cked up big time there. Went for the highlights reel finish, when all he needed to do was slide in.....a headfirst swallow dive to the turf is never going to end well.

Costes needs to stop the acrobatics when not necessary. Both of his tries he could have scored without the flashy put down, got away with the first one and then look what happened for the second

How hard is it for wingers to stay on the wing. Not just parra but broncos and many others. If all 4 wingers stayed in position half those tries wouldnt have been scored. They are usually the weakest defenders so why do they think the forwards or centres need help. Stay out wide, draw the player in and let the others do the work. Learn this in under 7s. We will see tries score on the sideline all year because the wingers want to be heros. If they dont understand just get them to watch some rugby union.
