Work the same job for 20 plus years, make millions if not billions of dollars, have a child, name him “jr” and get him hired at ur job. Guaranteed You’d let ur son do whatever he wishes as well. And so would ur job. George bush became president bc of his daddy and you all voted for him lol
Great topic and 💯! I will say no difference than Antetokounmpo's brother on the Bucks. Players run the league, and you have to take care of the cream of the crop. If it makes Lebron stay so they can win more Emirates Cup Championships it's worth it.
Great video Brian! 💯 Biggest question I have is why would JJ Reddick get himself in this situation? It’s lose-lose for him. He’s cut off from the knees from day 1. Might as well go coach the Dallas Cowboys 😂
Brother I said the same thing. If he really wants to coach he needs a team where he has at least some control. This can’t possibly work. He’s a stubborn arrogant guy (who I like btw) and no way this works with Lebron’s passive aggressive control tactics.
I used to be a Lakers fan. Once they drafted LeBron I had to question the organization. Then they drafted Bonny. That’s it. I can no longer support the Lakers.
Bronny should’ve stayed in college another year or two and develop his game more. He has raw defensive potential might be the best thing you could say about him. His offensive game is high school JV level. And he just seems to play timid on offense on top of being really bad. His development and pro career is probably going to be ruined to satisfy his dad’s dream.
He needs 5 years. He can be a JJ reddick type player, then start a podcast, then guest appear on ESPN with Steven a smith, then be a coach before age 40 with no professional coaching experience, then get fired 3 years later and retire.
I agree except for the jj reddick type player part. lol. Jj was the college national player of the year and averaged quite a few more points than Bronny ever has or ever will.
Good stuff Cajun! Three words sums up the Bronny situation--- reversion to the mean. Look, as I'm sure you know, sports are one of the closest things we have to a pure meritocracy. If you benefit from nepotism, especially in sports...then the spotlight is right on you. And when/if you struggle, you WILL face the heat. Comes with the territory. And dare I say it? Bronny is 'privileged'. 😂😂
I moved all the chrome base. I’m holding quite a bit of Lebron still though. I’d love to sell and buy more MJ and Messi but they are just sooooo damn low
Bronny should have stayed in college, transferred and developed more there. He didn’t earn anything and drafting a player just to make Lebron happy is one of the worst things to happen in sports.
Lakers are a business. Is Bronny good for business? Probably, merchandise sales, bums on seats, media attention, national and international focus. Bronny might be getting paid unders! But only on marketability / not talent.
Yeah, the Lakers have a real hard time filling seats. Said no one ever. They were selling out every game in their worst years pre-Lebron. They didn’t need the supposed GOAT to sell tickets and definitely don’t need a 0% three point shooter to fill seats. This ain’t Utah. Fans don’t care how much money Jeanie Buss earns. They want to see winning basketball. Giving out guaranteed roster spots to someone who would struggle on a two way contract playing in the g league isn’t gonna help them do that.
The Lakers *do* have a problem keeping people from leaving early to beat LA traffic home. Maybe they’ll stick around longer in hopes the game goes into garbage time so they can see Bronny build a chimney. That’s the only time he’s gonna play.
Absolutely not. I have seen the summer league games and we are seeing someone who with all do respect has no business playing basketball professionally. Not even G League.
Yes, let's keep talking about the 55th, again 55th!!!!! player of the draft😂😂😂😂😂 It's good for business. Just like all the talks on the internet. That's it.
I would not say that he is spoiled...this is a Lebron thing not so much on Bronny. He made a few mil on NIL in high school and college. I think he know he is not ready for the NBA. I truly think this is all Lebron.
Wow, great overall segment. However, the Lebron and Bronny scenario would have some substance if Bronny worked his way into the NBA from a legitimate standpoint. Since he did not and his father the Narcissist did some underhanded themes to get his son drafted who doesn't deserve the media attention or all the other perks he has been gifted, it makes the entire NBA father/son thing gross, sad, and pathetic. Please stop with the Ken Griffey scenario because Ken Griffey Jr the HOF was legitimately drafted because of his talent. One thing is not like the other.
I agree. I definitely wasn’t comparing the Griffey thing to this. I was simply recalling the other father son active player scenarios I remember. Did I compare them?
Coach you and I both know that he should have never been selected to the McDonalds AA team. Saying he was one of the best 24 players in high school is a complete joke. Him playing D1 college basketball is also a complete joke too. We can see is manifest in the Summer League now being lost and horrible shooting. Coach to be 6'0 or 6'1 you would have to be exceptional like a Mark Price (6'0 or John Stockton (6'1) type. We are just telling the truth. I saw his high school game and I never thought he was D1 and for sure not NBA. At least Jordan did push that on his sons. Right??? I feel sorry for Bronny I really do. He will have a career as a bench warmer playing in garbage time? What kind of career is that for the son of an all time great? People will say Lebron you are an all time great but your son sucked!!!!!!!! LOL
