I legit do not understand the ranking system in this game. Emongg's spectated people in gold that look like they should've been bronze 5. Now he's spectating someone in bronze who looks like they should be in gold or even plat.

I’m only 5 minutes in but this player is NOT bronze. They’re stuck in the wrong rank. You are gold at least. This is like the best bronze player I’ve ever seen in one of these videos

I would love to know what that Genji/Pharah was saying. The amount of times they just floated in the middle of the sky while taking damage was atrocious. I play a lot of Pharah and I know she doesn't have a very high skill ceiling, but knowing how to utilize cover is the number one rule of playing her in my opinion, and they couldn't even do that...meanwhile this Illari was playing their heart out! It feels so good to see a shitty toxic player put in their place. Great work Quarky! I think you will climb very quickly if you keep playing like this.

About 3 min and I’m confused this illari did so much value than most gold plate would ever do in that time frame lol -killed a DPS in high ground -Push cart -heal teammates -kill the Tank -help the support -ult the back line and got a kill I get it’s bronze but still lmaooo

My guess for the genji/pharah is that they are a dps player who is still salty about Illari’s damage numbers. I thought we were over this but I just saw people complaint about an Illari on my team yesterday. Hit ‘em with the “support btw” anytime they died to Illari

Great target priority for bronze, especially on that ult on 1st point def, knowing to ignore the spinning orisa and shootingna squishy is stuff even golds get wrong all the time

hey Emongg other games have used that feature for labeling the map, old halo MP e.g. They didn’t have an overhead but they had a faded location name on your hud near your health of exactly where you were standing. it was perfect for callouts

legitimately, other than not taking high ground, this illari plays like plat. i actually think they're gonna climb in no time. don't let that enemy dps get you down, quarky!! you have so much potential! 👏

bro I play like maybe gold (on widow and dva) and whenever my support plays illari they just throw the healing pylon and go full on dps props to this guy for using the right click

OK this illari isn't bronze or if very clearly held back by teamates the mechanics and aim is there new to illari but knew all the best spots. Ya either smurfin or something too good for bronze still a compliment

eyelevel pylons are cheeky but once an Ilari become predictable for pylon placement, is the minute she looses max effectiveness. Now she has to also worry about protecting the pylon too

Ya, that Illari is going to get to mid silver pretty quickly. All they need to work on is more high ground usage and reacting a little faster and theyw ill hit gold.

I think that most support mains are pretty good for their rank but they can’t hard carry, but they can still enable their teammates and make plays sometimes only rlly cracked support players climb(or duos ofc)

With mechanical skill, and a mind for positioning like this, they could also be a menace on Ana/Bap/Kiri if they ever decided to branch out from Illari.

Pharrah is like a cheat code in bronze because the vast majority of Bronze players don't have the mechanics to deal with one.

I wouldn't put much stock in the opinions of a DPS player concerning the performance of a support player, especially a bronze player and especially anyone who plays Pharah or Genji. That's three strikes against that player at that point

There's no way someone who switched to Pharah is gonna call someone "bad", "trash", etc., I bet all people like that have private profiles aswell

Yeah, that genji/pharah was playing bad, got rolled many times and the only way they can try to save face is to say someone is bad while seething behind their keyboard.

12:07 support players NEED to learn this. i see so many of my other supports trying to run away and then stagger themselves by 5+ seconds. who cares if it means you add a death? better to die fast WITH your team than try to run away and end up hurting your team by choosing to stagger yourself. not dying as a support is good when it means you're not dying early in the team fight. but when the team fight is lost, just reset with your team.

Blizzard really needs to make deployable objects despawn if the player dies. I know it doesn't make thematical sense, but they are becoming way too prevalent in the game and getting value when you are dead shouldn't be rewarded, it should be punished. (I would miss the Torb POTG though)

Everyone keeps saying how are they bronze but many of the decision making and awareness( ignoring the Pharah for 2 whole minutes while she killed your team one by one) makes them a Bronze

everyone in these comments confused/don't think this person belongs in bronze but don't realize that they're bronze playing against a buncha other bronze players. not even shitting on anyone or their ranks but the people in these vods deffo end up deserving the ranks they're currently in. imagine their gameplay in a higher ranked game, wouldn't fly.
