Mawlek decided it wasn't done with me yet and followed me all the way to the Hall of Gods o_o Music: Qumu - "New Super Mario Bros - Overworld [Remix]" • New Super Mario Bros -... Discord - Benji#1083 Twitch - / spoonsei_dll
There was this time where one of radiance's needles (the ones that go around like a spiral on the first phase) stayed on screen, stuck, and it persisted to the outside of the fight, I then re-entered the fight, it was still there. Fun thing is, I tried pogoing on it, since you know, long cutscene, and died (was trying radiant mode). The game kept screen shaking, it wouldn't stop, I think I died after the screen shake started, but before the game told it to stop, so it never did. Even if I went through the cutscene again, it didn't stop until I reseted the game.
I did something similar where i somehow got an flying ooma into the next boss in p5. No idea how it happened, my best guess is that I hit it offscreen right as it transitioned to the next boss. If it could be done consistently, it maybe could be used to get some damage in on winged nosk early? Not sure, but really weird glitch anyway
Interesting that even though you were fighting radiant mawlek, the attack did normal damage. I guess attack multipliers must be dependent on the arena, not the actual boss attacks.
I wonder what would happen if you actually died in godhome. Would it act like you lost your shade (or steel soul file) or would it just send you back to the godseeker in the junkpit?
Something similar has happened to me before, but in a P5 AB and it was with uumuu instead of the Mawlek. When I hit the jellyfish right when I was going into the transition it came into the Nosket room and hit me (for 2 masks, luckily I survived the fight).
i got a similar ish thing when i was fighting rad soul tyrant for the first time and i was missing a mask in HoG. caused some weird invisibility glitches too
Explanation: Mawleks are said to become wild and hostile when apart from their kin. However, this does not mean they cannot find new members. Tiso first attempted to strike down the beast and move forward, but became impressed by its tenacity. Eventually, struggling to overcome Tiso's agility and defensive skill, two of the Mawlek's legs buckled, something that should have been a sign of its doom - but instead, a panting Tiso hung back. From then on, when he would pass through the area, the ant would slay a couple aspids and bring them as food for the new companion. Eventually, he no longer had to fear its scythe-like claws whatsoever. Unfortunately, this could not last. One afternoon, The pair were eating together when sounds of an intrusion rang through the underground. Tiso went off to investigate, but when the Mawlek heard a strange, pitching, battle cry, it felt a neccesity to help. However, just as the creature entered the air with a huge jump, the truth of the situation became chillingly clear. The sound was not from the intruder - but from the dear friend! The Mawlek tried to adjust trajectory, to swerve away, anything, but it was too late. With a horrible *crunch,* Tiso was gone. Furious, the once again furious Mawlek turned to face the intruder who had caused them newfound isolation, but the diminutive white monster slashed away until it too lay still. Worse still, by some twisted work of the powers that be, these worst moments of its life seemed to... repeat. Though for no lack of trying, the Mawlek could never save Tiso from their collison. With every grief-filled reset, the beast became further filled with rage.
There’s another similar bug where for some reason Absolute Radiance’s nail things from that one attack where it shoots them out in a circle 3 times get stuck and stay even after you die and reenter the fight.
I remember one time i was speedrunning absrad and i died to one of absrad's dream nails, but when i went to fight absrad again i saw a floating dream nail in the middle of the arena that screwed up my speedrun attempt
My guess is that those projectiles were spawned at the frame perfect time to where the game already ran whatever method despawns all projectiles. Lag coulda caused it too. Might be an obvious statement, but I like looking at the technical stuffs.
My brother found one of Absrad's dream nails chilling underneath the Zote area. It didn't move or rotate, though I wish I could remember if it dealt damage or not (wonder where the shade would end up if you died in there?)
@@Spoonsei Thats awesome! So, could you (somehow) die in a Godseeker file, and then beat the game as if it were a regular run or does it "bug" out of you try to leave the junk pit?
It’s a weird buggy middle ground, it allows you to collect things like charm notches (even though you already have them) to get more than the usual 11 maximum
One time I was trying to do markoth radiant and I died but then I think the dream Shield from him almost hit me even though I already died and was not in the arena any more
