Dorothy's reaction to the revelation of Brooke/Deacon/Bridget/Hope is just another reminder that no NORMAL person would find Brooke's behavior normal or tolerable. Brooke is the worst mother in soap operas
One of Stephanie's finest moments.. she needed to champion the kids. Brooke was so childish during this arc.. one of her more annoying bits. Even my mom despised her then and she always liked her in the decades she watched the shows. I showed her this clip and she instantly remembered this lol. Blows my mind to see Hope so young considering where she is now.
I never liked Brooke and I never will. I have never seen one woman train wreck a family like this broad and she did it all on purpose. So much incest,. She is a horrible, horrible person,.
Well, another problem Rick and Bridget had, is that while they were growing up, Brooke was always dragging them along for the ride on her journey to try and live happily ever after with Ridge. When she found out Eric was really Bridget's father, she didn't make any effort to get back with him so the 4 for of them could be a family, I'm sure Rick wanted that. Instead, she tried make Ridge jealous with Grant. She's never thought about what her kids wanted, only what SHE wanted, which was Ridge!
I think that Hope and Rj maybe are a little happier than Rick and Bridget was though.. Rick and Bridget didn't have Nick to play with and there was so much going on regarding paternetytests and all that.. I think that the writers should get a new man for Brooke, Totally new.. No relation to any of the other caracters on the show..
Honestly, I don't think Stephanie was enjoying it at all because RJ and Hope were in the middle of the whole mess. The last thing she wanted was to see them hurt.
That is absurd! If what you say is true then why was Brooke dumb enough to be a negligent mother? Stephanie is naturally concerned about her grandchildren
@@stevendavis4189 Stephanie has always hated and been jealous of Brooke. She would do anything to take Brooke away from her children. Stephanie is a sick woman. If you see what she does not only to Brooke but to ther women you will believe me.
@@georgcorfu I've watched B&B for years. Over the 25 year period, Stephanie Forrester certainly had issues with a bevy of women-Margo, Kristen, Brooke, Sally, Macy, Taylor, Jackie, etc. But Brooke Logan was all of a sudden a philogynist? She never had her rivalries with some of these same individuals? Seems to me georgcorfu that what you conveniently omit is how with the passage of time how Stephanie mellowed and came to befriend and even love Sally, Macy, Kristen, Taylor and at times Jacqueline. If we are going to highlight "mental illness" for a moment-then lets address Brooke Logan's modus operandi shall we? At B&B's inception, the original Mrs. Forrester actually was a benevolent surrogate mother for Brooke, almost in the manner of a benefactress. That is until Brooke's ulterior motive was revealed as she seduced/got pregnant by Ridge. Spare me the history was repeating itself bit when the truth is the former Stephanie Douglass loved both Eric & Massimo Marone. So why is okay for people to invoke Stephanie's past into the conversation while refusing to acknowledge Eric's romancing both Beth & stephanie simultaneously? It should also be noted that during the 25 years Susan Flannery portrayed the character was the original Forrester matriarch ever "promiscuous"? Whatever she did/didn't do prior to 1987 at least she learned from her mistakes in the romance department. Can the same be said of "Miss Goody Two Shoes" (aka. Brooke)? Meanwhile returning to the subject of Ridge/Brooke -when Ridge wed Caroline what did "sweetness and light" do? She schemed to become the next Mrs. Eric Forrester to spite those who had "wronged" her-Ridge, Stephanie and even her own parents, Stephen and Beth. What kind of person, in this case being a woman, weds her own mother's ex flame while in the same breath rationalizes such opportunism by claiming to avenge Beth's honor? Ironic how Stephen & Beth made Stephanie the eternal scapegoat for all their family drama yet never credited Brooke for engaging in her fair share of family feuds! But again I digress! And this is a idiosyncracy with this demimondaine as Ms. Logan (later Forrester) included Thorne in her quest for unfulfilled satisfaction. And we would be remiss if there was no mention of how she gave new meaning to "keeping it all in the family" with sons-in-law Deacon Sharpe and Nick Marone. Not to mention Owen, another one of her offspring's beau. Even sister Katie Logan, the conscience of the Logan brood, wasn't immune to Hurricane Brooke as her husband, Bill Spencer, Jr., too couldn't resist and succumbed to Brooke's "charm." So this behavior "mental illness"? Granted Stephanie was an overbearing & holier-than-thou control freak and at the show's inception the original Ice queen, but Her Majesty thawed out over the years and strove to ultimately work through her problems (much of which stemmed from John Douglass's abuse). At least Stephanie had a set of convictions and her brood meant the world to her. When has Brooke ever had the courage to explore her problems (most of which stem from Stephen Logan's desertion)? Yes we can also highlight how paramours-Ridge, Eric, Thorne, Deacon, Nick, Owen, Bill, etc. were nothing more than desperate & neurotic roues and how they used her just as much as she used them. But make no mistake Anne Baxter's character, Eve Harrington, in "All About Eve" and Brooke Logan are ideal "soul mates."
@@stevendavis4189 the original Mrs. Forrester actually was a benevolent surrogate mother for Brooke, almost in the manner of a benefactress, could you explain that more?
I don’t like Hope but I like how loving Stephanie was towards her when she was little girl. Even though she intensely disliked Brooke it never affected how she loved Brooke’s children because they were her stepchildren and her grandchildren!! That shows how much of a mature woman Stephanie is, she’s made mistakes but she genuinely cares for the people in her family.
Ain't nothing wrong w hope. Yall don't like her bx she comes off like a goody goody or whiny. I rather that than be a hoe like stuffy and trying to take hopes boyfriends just bc of brooke
Quinn takes too much junk from Eric, Stephanie use to put Eric in his place. And Steffy is a joke, she lets Liam, and everyone walk all over her. Steffy is one reason I stopped watching got tired of her looking like a fool
@pytko3 You're right there. She is merely doing the same thing to Hope and RJ that she did to Bridget and Rick. And what she did to Bridget is being repeated with Hope! Obviously, Brooke never learns!
Well she won't abandon RJ since she sees him as her GOLDEN TICKET to Ridge and she knows how much Hope loves him. But I think Hope loves Nick more than Ridge. Nick has made a real fatherly connecton with Hope. But Deacon loves Hope too, Deacon was there for Hope's first word and first steps and loved every minute of it. Deacon has it in him, if he can just get past the alcohol.
@poissom, I think that Stephanie was talking about Deacon Sharp, I remember when he made massimo marone (a.k.a Stefano Dimera, dool) suffered a heart attack, and was in a vegetive-like-state.
Well, they did locate Deacon Sharpe, he's in Vegas. He agreed to sign an abondance form to give Ridge a clear path to Hope. I doubt that's the last anyone hears of Deacon Sharpe, because Sean Kanan WANTS to return to B&B and have Deacon Sharpe's history develop a little more.
Ridge has adopted Hope.. SO she is Stephanies grandchild.. I was confused about that to.. But then I saw an epi from 03 in witch they signed the papers...
Ridge isn't Hope legal nor adoptive parent. He has a soft spot on his heart for Hope because of 2 reasons..He was too adopted and plus he was married to Brooke. Brooke wished Ridge was her father and not Deacon..she always guilted him into it too.
Yeah, that's true enough. Bridget found out and was angry at Massimo. Bridget wanted to tell Deacon that Massimo had been slipping alcohol in his drinks, but Deacon had left before she could tell him. She tried to call him, but he left his phone behind. Deacon had decided to go to a rehab clinic. Nick felt maybe it was were Deacon needed to be for now. Massimo had every right to be angry with Deacon, but I think Massimo went too far. Deacon's last known whereabout was Las Vegas.
"Where are my kids? They are all that I have!" Sheesh, Brooke! Did it ever occur to ya to even remember Bridget and Rick in this line?! Gad, maybe if THEY had been taken from ya, maybe things would have been fine.
I don't remember what the storyline was at the time with Brooke but she did have Rick and Bridget taken away from her too. She actually ended up trying to kidnap the kids and Stephanie had to have her arrested for it. Brooke took off with the kids and went to the cabin in Big Bear.
6:26 2007 Ridge loves Hope as much as Steffy (and Phoebe) 2010 Ridge loves Hope more than Steffy (Phoebe is dead by this time) 2021 Ridge loves Steffy more than Hope
@@vanessadorahill292 Leaving your kids alone overnight, then leaving them with an adult that isn't responsible, then the kids starting the fire and Nick's lighter is not an accident. Brooke was being very irresponsible. Brooke deserved to have the truth slapped to her by the CPS lady.
@@lovelyvanessadorahill8585if Brooke was smart, she wouldn’t have gotten involved with her daughter’s boyfriend! Besides, how could anyone in their right mind be jealous of a soap character?😂🤦♀️
Stephanie mentions to Dorothy that Hope's biological father was married to Bridget during the time of Hope's conception. Stephanie could go to the press with that because it would be a sure fire way to get rid of Brooke. If the public knew this, Brooke would be so humilated, she could never show her face in public again. Brooke's life would be ruined with 1 blow. The only reason Stephanie doesn't, is because Bridget and Hope's lives would be ruined too and she cares for them.
She needs her meal ticket. No kids. No Ridge. She doesn't care about those babies. They are nothing more than a meal ticket to her. She needs RJ to hang on to Ridge
The only reason they got Hope is because they wouldn't let Deacon near her. Deacon fought really hard to get both Little Eric and Hope back, but he only got Little Eric back. Deacon still wants her back, but he also wants her to be happy. Considering how Brooke jumps from man to man, I don't Hope and RJ are happy kids since Brooke always takes them along for the ride.
Stephanie is no longer on the show, but does anyone remember when the saint Stephanie was having an affair with her daughter Felicia's boyfriend! This went on for months under Eric Forrester's home
@@rhondahaider7112 she didn't have an affair with Jake or Zach which were the 2 boyfriends. She was in a relationship with Zach and Taylor's dad Jack Hamilton though
I wonder if they were still trying to locate Deacon Sharpe(Hope's biological father)when Dorothy and Steph had this talk. If they were, what Steph said may have caused the authorities call off the search. I mean a person can't be tracked down overnight, I'd changes are they were still looking for him.
So according to thus she know what will happen when cps get involved where the children are concerned and how she felt.. Why doesn't Ridge remembers any of this
If i was Brooke i would have called the cops on Stephanie and the 'cps'lady for kiddnapping......it has to be court ordered to take kids away from their mother
So sleeping with her daughters husband and getting pregnant isn't her hurting her child? How about when she forced Rick and Bridget to have their brother as a father? Isn't that hurting her children? Brooke is the worst mother a child could have. She has used her kids over and over again just to hold on to what ever man she was pursuing at the time. Brooke has never put her kids above her own selfish desires.
and I would encourage Ridge and Taylor to get their hate their mother and to trust and submit to them and to me (Stephanie). Too bad, this was a great chance to crush Brooke Logan once and for all.
Stephanie, Bridget is just like Brooke. Bridget slept with her mother's husband Nick, and she have plans in the future to sleep with more married mens.
its brooks own fault for whats happening,,she is being selfish and being an unfit mother, its one thing after another,my god they were playing with a lighter smh
What difference does it make who adopted hope,Ridge and Nick and Deacon loved her,so did Stephanie.Leave brooke alone, every body on the show has slept around.
ahehehehshehahahahah the black lady is completely bald headed on her left side. Dammmnnnnnnnnnnnn . they could've sprayed a lil black spray paint to match her hair or smthn. Yikes
He wasn't just slipping.. He was pouring... Deacon didn't have to go to rehab if his father hadn't lured him to drink.. I really didn't like Mas during that Sl...
