You got this and I ended my relationship of 8 years a year ago And I felt like I was broken and didn’t know or like the person I was on my own. Same. Well 3 years, engaged was a whirlwind when we met. Mine was southern, charming army vet. FF to a year and a half. He switched, no longer sweet, charming…he turned into a monster and started getting abusive and nasty. So last month he put his hands on me so I grabbed my cat, clothes (some) and my daughter. I left to a hotel and it’s hard as a single mom. Found a rommie and moved into a place w them. Of course he’s “changed” and misses/love me….but I can’t go back. I couldn’t eat, sleep nothing so I say that to say this. You WILL get through it and look back and laugh that you were so sad over an absolute loser 😂 I do witchcraft and did a cord-cutting ritual, called my power and energies back…now I feel like a whole new woman. Staying single for a longggg time 🖤

Girl trust me when I say, when you go through a heartbreak you literally feel like no one else on this earth could possibly understand how much you're hurting. But I promise you everyone does feel that way (if it's a hard break up and they were really in love). My best advice I could give is allow yourself to be upset. The more I suppressed my feelings and tried to just get over it the worse I felt and the longer the heat ache lasted. Obviously don't let it destroy your life to a point it's been 6 months and you're still laying in bed crying everyday, but definitely give yourself the time to grieve the relationship. I promise with everything in me, it will get better. And the next time you go through that you'll remember how you felt like it was the end of the world and you DID get better, and it'll make the next process easier too. But my one piece of unsolicited advice would be don't force yourself to date or go out and do shit when you don't want too. Let yourself be sad. Let yourself grieve. Let yourself feel like shit. And eventually you will start to hurt less and less and when the time comes to get out there again, you will genuinely be over your ex and that will actually give you a fighting chance to have another great relationship 🩷 hang in there xo
