Actress and model, Brooke Shields, knows the importance of a good nighttime skincare routine. Mothers often know best and Brooke Shields picked up a few tips and tricks from her mom about maintaining healthy skin-including giving yourself a mini facial while applying your serums. If trapped on a desert island, her own “Blue Lagoon” of sorts, she would definitely bring sunscreen-but might also try to sneak a couple more skin necessities into her pouch. Watch as Brooke breaks down how she achieves her glowing skin.

I find it refreshing to see a celebrity not use the terms "clean", "natural", or "non-toxic". I am not a huge fan of True Botanicals but it's nice to see a person use products just because they like them and they work for their skin. Pro tip: After applying the cleansing balm, add water to your face until it becomes a milky consistency. It can help dissolve the makeup better so you don't have to rub so hard. Then go in with a reusable cotton round.

I saw her in about 1981 in the theatre in New York. She was in the audience with her mom, a couple of rows behind me. They shone a spotlight on her in the intermission, but they didn't need to - she looked like she had a permanent spotlight just with her beauty and radiance. Of course, she was a teenager then and just starting her movie career - she's still gorgeous.

Still got those thick beautiful eyebrows. You're the reason I never made my eyebrows thin. Through all the trends, I kept them thick. Waxed and clean but thick:) I'm 54 and they are still thick. Thick eyebrows make you look younger, I think.

First she looks amazing and gorgeous!!! However, a few things I've noticed, she is pulling on her eyes way to much when washing her face with the pad, NO NO NO! When drying your face do not rub your face like that to dry, just dab it dry. Lastly, rings hold a lot of bacteria and yucky stuff, they should be taken off and hands washed when washing or cleaning your face. Hugs

i just kept wanting to tell her to remove her jewelry before cleansing....all the oils etc will dull her diamonds and the metals, but i suppose it would take a lot of time to remove and reinsert all her earrings alone....she looks great!

It's a fine skincare routine if the fragrance doesn't irritate you and if you get clean enough from just the balm but oil doesn't replace moisturizer (and oil should go after the moisturizer)

Ok, just had to mention that her balm cleanser alone did squat. Look at all that make up that came off on the wash cloth (which, OUCH! Too much rubbing with that cloth, to then proceed to put the serum in upwards motion 🤔) BUT I will say that I do appreciate the fact that even with help from her derm, she looks as if she is aging naturally and she looks great. These days, it’s really hard to find a celeb not looking like an alien. Kudos to her for that.

What a beautiful woman! I would never be pulling on my skin that much while cleansing it....I have dry skin as well and thin skin. Mascara has to come off )) I actually got this Luna 3 Foreo brush, it pulsates while cleanses and it has the softest silicone bristles which do not do any damage to your skin barrier, it made such a difference. I totally recommend it to all.

Why did I have to scroll so far down to find this comment? The running tap bothered me so much as well. Also all that jewellery hold so much bacteria and usually oil cleansers need a second cleanse after that. She didn't even rub it in properly.
