Exactly...that was my first thought....these younger people are actually the more mature ones than the adult interviewers... The two actors were candid and honest and innocent while the interviewers were simply malicious...
Exactly, many people try to make it as a sort of child pornography, but in reality it's the closest we've got to see, how humans would react if they grew up by themselves, sort of like many animals do and their instincts just kick in.
it's funny how the adults are less mature about the love scenes than the kids are. As a high schooler myself I've noticed that it still present - sex isn't a big deal, but so many adults seem to go out of their way to make us feel uncomfortable and awkward about it.
They did survive. The berries made them go to sleep. The ship captain said they were asleep when Richard's father asked if they were dead. I was so glad they were alive.
I was 18 when this came out in the theaters, and I remember the beauty and the allure of the commercials showing the trailer for this at the time. It was something kind of different back then, even though it was a remake, and it stood out as being very visually beautiful. Not just the scenery of the island/cinematography, but the stunning look of Atkins and the radiance of Shields.
Christopher Atkins is so cute and I really loved his hair ob the blue lagoon. His beautiful curly blond hair I have the whole collection of the movie it's definitely a good one
He looks sooo much better with curly hair, I definitely agree with that. What I loved about the film was it reminded me of Adam and eve from biblical times, the loves scenes are absolutely beautiful, not in a vulgar way in a natural sensual way. It really shows just how beautiful the human body really is and instantly draws you in to where you can feel it. This film just shows how natural love is suppose to grow and blossom.
If you read Brooke's last memoir THERE WAS A LITTLE GIRL she talks about how Randal Kleiser was smitten with Christopher Atkins and Brooke was jealous..so she would try to annoy Christopher and one of the things she would do is hover around him singing SO YOU THINK YOU'RE A ROMEO PLAYING A PART IN A PICTURE SHOW, TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME... the SUPERTRAMP song. She mentions that everything Christopher would do would be applauded and be like, omg you are so good, and she was not getting any of that, and she was like she was the actress and this is his first movie and it is going to his head..so she would sing that song around him..too cute
I saw this movie as a kid. It came out when i was 5. I might see it different than some people being young and likimg this film. Teenage sex and puberty were looked at differently back then.
I just watched this movie last night and I love it! One of the best movies I've ever seen! BTW how old are Em and Richard in the movie? Around what age?
Most gorgeous pure and natural and above all very innocent the most innocent look I had I ever seen and sweetest look gorgeous awesome and down to earth simply outstanding slim and sexy smile which can captivate like 👍❤magnet 🧲love to brook ❤baby doll Barby doll of Hollywood. God bless you brook .
Oh Brooke don't were to much makeup you have such a naturally beautifully face. Show it off! Chris you are very handsome. but your a man so...... no makeup suggestions
This makes me feel horribly uncomfortable she is trying to say that she is a child and they say “but you are so mature” she was a CHILD even if she is mature and that’s no reason to sexualise her it’s horrible
The film is presented as pretty and romantic with a natural Adam and Eve in a tropical paradise BUT we all need to remember that this film should not have been made with Brooke Shields ; she was 14 and Christopher Atkins was 18 ! The movie isn't beautiful when you understand that Brooke Shields was forced and co-erced by the adults in her life to perform in this film and act out a sexual awakening with a nude much older guy ,that she had not known before the film when she was still innocent ...Brooke Shields later admitted that privately she was deeply uncomfortable and confused and had to be constantly encouraged and pressured to perform and that sometimes she cried off-set...It is all too easy to be lulled by the surface beauty of the movie and to easily swallow the sweetness BUT really this movie was a form of abuse of an incredibly beautiful and powerless very young girl controlled by her mother and manipulated by men in the film industry who saw her as a money making machine that they could use without her true consent !
@@HashimKhan-f7jYou can watch the interview she did as an adult yourself ! it is everywhere....but even if she didn't say it (which she did) However more importantly are you o.k with a 14 year old girl being used this way ?
Pedo movie. Sexualizing teens. I never watched it but I don’t want to. I just came here to verify if it’s as creepy as I was told and seeing the comments I really hope you guys aren’t adults because some of the things these people are saying about that girl is weird.
i don’t think that Emmeline and Richard were in the second movie dead.Richard’s father faund them and it seemed that he took them from the boat with their son.It was probably two different people, the parents of the other Richard.
did they hated each other i read somewhere that brooke kinda distant him or something they didnt kept in touch until now did something happen between them?
SHE WAS A CHILD you are horrible how dare you she was a child and now she has grown up! And oh no if she isn’t a child when she isn’t pretty is that what you think? You horrible human
Well, if both are invited, both should speak. And unlike most film stars, she doesn't seem to like being the centre of attention. What's more, the adults obviously don't listen in their stupidity
