Living in Murrells Inlet for 19 years I can truthfully say this is paradise. If you’re into landscaping you will get great ideas for your own place. You might want to know about different species of plants. Maybe you simply want a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature at its best. Regardless of what you simply must visit. If you’re in the area around Christmas time you absolutely have to come to the nights of 1000 candles. I don’t think there is anything more beautiful for the season. This is so wonderful that it usually sells out very quickly. My wife and I did it a few years back when there was a chill in the air which made it seem like Christmas back in the north. A night we’ll always remember. Thank you two for showing this.

Just got back from there last week. I had to go back three times. $22 for admission but the ticket is good for seven continuous days. The pontoon boat ride is another $10 but again, well worth it. My favorite was the palmetto garden, the fountain on the site of the original plantation house and the two ponds. I'd become a Brookgreen Gardens member if I lived in the area. You locals don't know how luck you are to have such a beautiful spot to visit.

My gosh i just love it there. Season pass holder for years. I just went on the pontoon excursion this week. 10 extra, but you get a discount for season pass making the excursions $9. Ijust uploaded that video on my channel. I must admit we haven't been to the butterfly exhibit since pre-covid. Depending on the season they are out in force enjoying the flowers. I would also recommend spending multiple days there. There is so much history, sculptures, and beautiful scenery. Definitely pack a lunch and picnic on the grass...... in the cooler months lol

we visited this garden place last year when we were down, spent most of the day there, we are not art folks, but it was really cool, and the gardens are what drew us there. we enjoyed the pontoon boat ride thru the marsh, and learned about how things worked back then with the flooding of the marshes and levi locks. but we missed the evening color of lights by a day, we were so disappointed, but all in all this was awesome, so glad we visited. we actually got our my mom's 2 glass birds from the gift shop, and they loved them. we really enjoyed the butterfly area too, and the zoo is quite neat too. very cool area and like you said that the huntingtons donated this for all to enjoy for generations to come. we thought some of the ideas they had for lights on the poles with the mason jars was really neat, thinking of doing some at our place

Thank you so much for this video posting. Brookgreen Gardens is my most favorite place to be. I first visited as a child over 60 years ago. My most recent trip being about 4 years ago. Brookgreen Gardens is why I would love to relocate to Murrells Inlet. Who knows, miracles do happen. 🥰🥰🥰 Awesome !!!

These lovely gardens are spectacular. There is so much to see here, and it's all breathtaking! There is so much more to the greater Myrtle Beach area than the oceanfront. Take some time and explore this amazing part of South Carolina!

Well Brookgreen gardens is certainly a must go place in the myrtle beach area. My mom was a 5th grade teacher in Spartanburg where I live so any educational attraction was on our vacation list each year. First went to Brookhaven gardens in 1965 when I was 10 some 58 years ago. Great place for everyone. I've been many times. It's huge and alot to see. Not in one day. Thanks Carmen great video. You remind me every video of things on the grandstrand we south Carolina residents take for granted everyone has seen.

It's great how they have preserved this area and all the great displays and art statues. The private events are real a blast. Meet a lot of great people. Oh my gosh I was there the last year I been there. As I can say as I remember being at Long Wood Gardens in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. As I can say I’d like to see Brooke Green Gardens if I go there.
