What an amazing couple. Truly respect the communication they seem to have. That’s not easy. I bet their love shows up in the amazing looking food. Wish I could try the restaurant…I’m on the wrong coast. Cheers you two…you have such a lovely amazing vibe.

Got to eat lunch there one random Sunday. It was a scene. Groups having fun. Enjoying the food. I was eating alone. The owners were as sweet and chill as you see in this video. Talking about how excited they were to offer Thai ice tea cake - which was freaking amazing by the way.

This was such a good story. Loved hearing about their journeys. Wonderful. Shine on!

Thai food if genuine and cooked with love is unbeatable. We have a Thai place near the house that was owned by a husband(American) and wife(Thai) team. They sadly opened right at the start of the pandemic, which made their first year or so just so hard. We patronized them via take away at least once a week just to do our part to support them. Once business picked up, they made a fatal mistake. They jacked prices and reduced portions. We cut back to once a month as did most of their regulars. They gave up and sold it to a Thai family. The new owners fresh from Thailand make some of the best and most fresh dishes I've eaten. Their English is so rough, they use a letter followed by a number on each item menu to make it easy to order. The portions are great and the pricing is very fair. I'm grateful they came in and kept it open. The food is literally some of the very best Thai I've eaten anywhere. The ingredients and freshness make for some of the tastiest and most complex flavor profile dishes I've eaten in my life. Cheers

lao culture has the same concept of “grenjai” or “geuanjai” in lao. it’s funny cause i assumed she was using it from her perspective to the customers, but it makes sense the other way around. my understanding is that its used to be kind & considerate in how others do things.
