I took a few attempts at this, and ill admit I struggled. It was tough and I couldn't get the last part down. So, I showed my mom, and she did it! She struggled just as I did, but eventually got the hang of it. I gotta say, I LOVE IT! I will definitely be begging my mom on lots of occasions to do this again, and Ill practice more to get the hang of it too. Its such a pretty hairstyle and I will definitely do it again.
This hairstyle is so cute and surprisingly versatile! On myself and my daughter. So much easier than french braids. The last part had me mixed up at first. If anyone who is struggling reads this. Just keep in mind your right and left hand will always twist in the same direction even though the strand is twisted in the opposite direction. I've found it to be cutest and most secure when it's twisted the same way as the bottom from the top down.
I literally do this hairstyle every day it’s my go to and so easy totally recommend especially if you want curls for the next day. Just dampen your hair, do the style and literally go to sleep. You wake up and take out the hair ties and you have luscious curls

I wear this hairstyle ALL the time 😂😂 I learned the rope braid from you a very long time ago and kinda just taught myself the top part on my own. I always use this instead of normal braids because I think it’s easier lol. I’m going to say that out of the 7 days out of the week I wear this hairstyle twice lol. Such a great and easy hairstyle! Also people always ask me how I do it 😂 but it’s literally because I don’t know how to French braid 🤦🏼♀️
This hairstyle is super cute and really easy for a beginner like me. I have short hair so I did the top part normal then at the bottom I just did pigtails and it work really well and was just as cute!!😋
Thank you so much for this! I watched a short the other day showing someone doing their hair like this, but all on one side, and I tried a couple times and just couldn't get it right. Turns out I was doing it wrong! Instead of starting with two sections twisted then adding on, I would just overlap over the one section, whilist adding more hair. Kept wondering why it didn't look the same. I think the video was too short for me to understand the process. I'm so excited though, as I only had to watch a couple mins into this video and got it on the first try 😊 I've done it on one side of my hair, finished off with a side braid and I'm so happy with it! I'm in my late 20s but I still ran over to my Mum to show her haha that's how esctatic I am!
