Imagine being a random officer in that end scene. A bunch of randos, and nypd higher ups, sneak in in costumes, and vents, and one of them looks like an officer you know, and start talking about some heist you've never heard of.

The cellist Caroline is Andy Samberg's real life harpist wife Joanna. Fred Armisten appeared in the first episode plus another episode where Peralta and he sang a song together about a dog losing it's virginity plus he played the violin at Jake & Amy's wedding.

I agree with all these comments about Psych. Best mystery show ever, best episodic TV show ever, best bromance ever. With how much you love B99 like every other sane human you'll love Psych.

Holt saying "Title of your sex movie" is what tipped me over the edge to crying when watching this episode for the first time. They really did that scene with Jake and Holt perfectly. Thanks for doing such great reactions to the series (and everything else on this channel), I've already done the big paragraph comment on last week's episode, but as it's the last one I just want to once again appreciate the journey.

Respect for the emotional reaction, glad you enjoyed the show so much. If we're talking sitcoms with emotional moments I have two big recommendations for you: 1. The Good Place: Another Michael Schur creation. It's about Eleanor who after dying is in the good place, where only the best of the best people go. The only problem is, she's not meant to be there. That's all I'll say, but it's incredibly funny & emotional with some excellent discussions about philosophy, ethics and the universe as a whole. 2. Ghosts. A British sitcom about a couple who inherit a manor house, and after a near death experience, one can now see the ghosts that linger in the place they died: a caveman, a politician, a Victorian lady etc. Written and starring 'the idiot six' (famous in the UK from the tv show Horrible Histories), but also features a bunch of TM contestants: Lolly Adefope, Katy Wix, Jessica Knappet and four more that you haven't seen on TM yet. Could not recommend it more, it's emotional moments are just as strong if not stronger than it's comedic moments. It's so good that it not only spawned an American adaptation (started weak but is actually not bad) and an upcoming German version too.

OOOOH yeah I 2nd the Ghosts recommendation. It has so many Taskmaster alumni that Adam would have to enjoy it. (Plus it's an amazing show and whatever)

I personally loved the finale and that it went out straight 99 style! 🥰 I also have to give my vote for the tv show Psych, which I watched religiously from its original airing and still rewatch today! So many classic lines! If you love 80/90s pop culture, comedy and a little mystery thrown in, Psych is an easy and hilarious watch! 🥰🥰🥰

I love how many easter eggs and cameos they squeezed into this last episode, another sneaky one is the janitor played by Dan Goor- co-creator and the series' showrunner. I can't believe you're already done, thank you for all amazing reactions and brighting up my monday mornings for many months.

As a huge Andy Samberg fan aswell, I suggest you watch the awesome town pilot, produced by The Lonely Island and that sadly never continued. You should also definitely watch my favourite movie, Celeste and Jesse forever, produced by Rashida Jones where Andy Samberg expands his acting skills by playing a dramatic role, but obviously his comedy shines through

Damn it, you crying set me off! That ending hits so much harder now that Andre Braugher is no longer with us Also, the Mlipnos character was in like 2 scenes in the whole show where they’re going door to door
@theadamabrams
@theadamabrams 2 месяца назад
This was an incredible finale imo. 8:15 Mlepnos appeared in the very first episode, again in 1x15, and again at Jake and Amy's wedding. 17:19 They did an entire Doug Judy episode earlier this season, which was only 3 weeks earlier when this aired. So his absence didn't bother me at all, especially given how many guests they did manage to cram into the finale. 12:06 / 17:47 I don't like most versions of Gina; I'm glad they brought her back for the finale but it would indeed have been nice if they had made her more tolerable. Granted, Gina in this episode behaves extremely similarly to her previous appearance (6x15, which was really annoying but was definitely who the character was).
