Its a good sign that they cleared them for season 7 even before 6 was done. Shows they support and believe in the show, so hopefully that means more seasons to come
terry is a family man like sarge stephanie is polar opposite to rosa Joe is a more sane version of Boyle melissa is a less cringy Amy Andy is a toned down Jake and Chelsea just is Gina XD
Watch 0:32 carefully here Andy signals to Melissa that someone (95% sure it's the camera man) is staring at her legs. At about 1:08 Joe realises and mirrors his pose to theirs because he is paying attention to them. 2:35 Melissa and Andy are both looking down, Joe indirectly to the camera( further solidifying it's the camera man ), Melissa also rubs her leg a couple of times with indicates either stress or excitement ( doubt she's excited ).Through out the rest of the interview Andy constantly looks at the ground occasionally glances at the cameraman 3:29. Melissa does some pacifing movements. Joe does the same and I think maybe Chelsea realises what was happening at 3:26 when she glances at the camera man followed up by a couple of self soothing behaviour but I could be wrong. The rest of the cast doesn't do much. Did this all because someone pointed it out in the comments and because I am practicing reading people's body language, tell me how I did.
Awesome Donut it’s a reference from the show. The episode when Scully, Jake, and Terry were saving Hitchcock and Scully gave him that codename, “Black Fred” 😂
@@Spicyvodkamilk They didn't "signal" anything. The side PR rep mentioned to her to pull down her skirt. That was it. She already saw them and the signal wasn't "passed" from person to person. It was already seen by the person it was intended for. There was no camera man issue or no issue with the staff behind the scenes. It was a simple PR look out done right. The people who claim they are passing invisible signals are talking out of their asses.
It's literally Hitchcock and scully sitting there not contributing to anything I think they became their characters Except rosa she is drastically different
I love how Andy straight-ass interviewed Chelsea at 01:40 and then Dirk and Joel at 4:30 it was so sweet...ppl tend to ignore Hitchcock and Scully so much
Man, Andys a class act. He sincerely tried to include Dirk and Joel in the interview by asking their opinions. In any other prime time show, they might have just been secondary roles to fill out the ensamble feel during the interview but you can tell they all really think of each other in a familial light
They actually were at first. Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller were co-star credits in every episode outside of the main cast and only got a few scenes for comic relief in every episode. In Season 2, they started getting starring billings in the opening credits, but they were after the main title sequence. Then they finally got to be in the main title sequence after Chelsea Peretti left the show in the middle of Season 6. November 7, 2020, 12:44am
I’m seeing many people mention this, but when Joe crosses his legs he also leans into her. The way everyone in the front instantly knew what to do to make her feel more comfortable in this situation is amazing.
Andy often does that on interviews with others. He defects the attention to those around him when he notices that interviewers are always asking him, and forgetting that there are people with him.
*Out of all the TV shows, Brooklyn 99 is THE show that could go on forever.* Like, instead of the billionth CSI or thousandth Housewives Of, Brooklyn99 actually has good content that doesn't just recycle itself.
I just need 2 more seasons. I want Terry to get his own precinct, Jake and Amy to have a child, Rosa to either get married, get a serious partner, or to have a reconciliation with her mother, Boyle to have another child and get married to Genevie (I believe they're still not married), Holt...never retire ever lol, and Gina to find love as well (I would love a Gina/Rosa gag kiss or something since they've spoken on their chemistry in the past lol)
@@yoshikage_kira6860 I just think it's crazy these people are out here calling the interviewer out over nothing, also the camerman. If there was something, it was for the footage.
0:32 this whole interaction was crazy. It seems like Andy and Melissa have a code or something so she knows she should do something about the guy looking at her inappropriately. Maybe it was crossing his arms, but she knew to pull her skirt down and they share a knowing glance.
If you look closely, you see that it’s a lot of things. First, Andy looks at the interviewer and the cameraman. Then, he pulls his shirt down, nudges Melissa slightly, and crosses his arms, meaning that he gets Melissa’s attention, she sees he isn’t happy, and tells her to cover her legs. Next, Melissa glances at the camera and the interviewer, to which Andy mouths “yep”, and covers her legs. So yeah, I think there is a code too.
i know people have their favourite characters in every show. but i love all of these characters. gina, amy, terry, hitchcock, jake, rosa, holt, scully, boyle.i love all of them.
Fun fact - The role for Gina was specifically made for Chelsea. I read it on an article and there are more details there and more fun facts there. I’ll try and find it if anyone is interested in it.
Loon Aralia the averagers cast is a literal family, they have way better chemistry than this group, don’t get me wrong these guys are great. But the Avengers group have been together since 08
I don't understand why Fox got rid of B99.. It has so much potential than any of its new series now. When I first heard the news Fox axed B99, I was like WTF. How can they axed a damn good show. I was really hoping that other channel pick them up. Now thanks to NBC, I'm going to binge watching B99 again! Say goodbye to your viewer ratings Fox.
17 more seasons and a movie, I love this show sooo much , I'm pissed that it could ever be cancelled, confounded that Netflix didn't jump out of their asses to pick it up, and sooo relieved that it was picked up . I thank the gods of TV, and all the fans who raised their voices to save this great show that is so dear to my heart.
At 0:32 Chelsea wiped the side of her lip when she noticed the camera man, then Andy saw her sign and notified Melissa. And THEN at 3:41 Chelsea looks like she re-saw something and did the EXACT SAME LIP WIPE but it didn’t seem like Andy saw her. I think the cast have secret codes. And that’s super smart!
At the same time Chelsea did her lip swipe Melissa rubbed her nose so that might say she saw the same thing too. Then a second later Joe grabbed his ear and scratched his chin and I think that was in response.
i also think joe gave a certain look to chelsea before that, when they were looking at each other, he then looked up? But there was a subtle eye contact
@@jimmychumnick9073 it's relatively known that celebs have codes during interviews to indicate to their teams when they feel uncomfortable or irritated as anything filmed can be used by the interviewers at their own discretion, so if they were to throw a fit on camera who knows how that could be or couldn't be presented online/sometimes interviewees like to present a classy front and body language codes are the best way to do that. Watch Cara Delevigne being interviewed by Graham Norton where he asks her about having sex on an airplane. You see her visibly uncomfortable and repeatedly very obviously scratching her neck to indicate "next question please" because she says her dad is in the audience. That's just one obvious example.
omg at 0:33 Andy got mad and noticed the interviewer was looking at Melissa's skirt and nudges her to fix it when she stops laughing 😂 he's such a gentleman
They are so cute together like omg The way Andy looks at her during the series is goals too, bc he really looks completely in love with her (He's a damn good actor or he actually had a little crush on her bc damn I wish someone would look at me like that). I'm happy that they are happily married and have their children, but they would be the perfect couple :(
@@milenaavila1603 that is actually just brilliant acting technique! tho im kinda sure andy has said before that, in every romantic scene he gets to do with melissa, he just pictures his actual wife and that helps to 'channel' the right emotion
1:43 the moment when you try to say something in a group conversation but the only person who heard you is another introvert is not able to direct attention towards you so he also ignores you as you both sit in shame and try to forget.
0:32 OMG this camera man is discussing. Looking at Melissa legs like that! But Andy being a sweetest human alive saves the day. You can see his face go from laughing to straight when he saw him looking at her legs. Pulls down his shirt and gives Melissa a nudge to get her attention. Mouths the words yep and she pulls down her skirt. Andy ur so adorable 🥺
This man steels my heart..the way he helped Melissa at 0:35..with whoever did that...when i saw it closely i literally had a little tears. The way he's asking everyone to talk unlike the interviewer...and he's the coolest and funny he's actually... Exactly like Jake Perlata...such a great man..I LOVE HIM SOO MUCH😢❤❤❤❤
@@welcometofalsettolannddd2924 i think someone behind the camera or anyone looked at melissa..and how andy's reaction changed from laughing to serious...and he told melissa indirectly..and the adjust her skirt
WELCOME TO FALSETTO LANNddD he signals to melissa that (it looks like someone behind the camera as both of them glance there) someone is looking at her skirt or something, by nudging her and crossing his arms. Not surprising considering how creepy hollywood is that they’d have signs for this. Watch back in slo mo to see them subtly communicate. Like when andy says “yep” completely out of context
Shalala WTF like I said. I’d be fine with a non halloween one. But I just love all the twists and turns of those episodes. You know? Make it a Valentine’s Day one where Amy is trying to figure what Jake is doing for Valentine’s Day. Then she thinks he forgot and bad stuff happens the. It was a big ruse.
the thing i love about this show is that it’s so effortlessly diverse. in shoes like riverdale, for example, kevin’s character exists to be nothing more than the gay best friend. that’s literally his only personality trait. in this show, the characters are so much more than just their race or sexuality. it’s a part of who they are, but they aren’t defined by it, and i love that.
ok but i love how close andy and melissa are, actual friend goals??? anytime they shared a look i was like THAT'S SOME GOOD COMMUNICATION (also just the entire cast are so at ease with each other and it warms my heart)
A ir I think that would be a great idea as a sketch for the Emmys or something, but as a regular episode would be kind of weird Oh and you gotta throw The Good Place in as well 😎
I like to think 99 is already a huge crossover for The Office and P&R! Some of the cast have similar personality traits (Gina to April, ScullCock to Jerry), and a HUGE crossover of characters with both shows. Off the top of head, he have Darryl, Oscar, Andy and Meredith from The Office. Then Jerry, Ron, Mona Lisa, and like a million small reoccurring characters from P&R. Again, that's just off the top of my head! But I love it. I would kill to see agent Michael Scarn or Bert Macklin FBI in an episode! 99!
@@altissimoiii8239 it started at 0:30 it started from the girl on andys left to the girl in the right covering her legs then it goes on throughout the interview
Rodrigo Terré If he isn't contractually obligated to go to an event, he doesn't. Him not being there doesn't mean he's not in s6 if thats what you're worried about.
I didn't think this would be that funny of a show but literally after one episode I was really enjoying it. The cast just grows on you and the comedy has me cracking me up im wheezing. I've always thought Andy was funny so im glad he is putting it to good use in this classic show. I'm only on season 2 right now but I am so looking forward to watching more. Also ps they start filming tomorrow which is my bday ayeee k later
