Des really wanted Brooks but he did not love her back.That seemed apparent to me throughout the show.She also had feelings for Chris and Chris seemed to be the one that really loved and adored her.Chris was my pick for her and I am so happy they got married.Those two are soulmates.My favorite Bachelor couple...Des n Chris.
I feel so sad watching this video. I'm in tears watching how devastated Desiree was. It is one of the most tear jerking moments I ever saw on the show. I can feel how crushed she is that her feelings are not reciprocated by Brook. That's gotta be a tough pill to swallow. ;( But on the other hand, I feel glad that she chose Chris at the end of the journey. They seem very happy to together. Chris would be a great husband to Desiree.
Unrequited love is always a hard pill to swallow. But the lesson from Desiree's story is that you should not be so fixed on the person who doesn't want you, and ignore all the ones who DO want you. Brooks left and she was finally able to see Chris. They are still married with a baby, and they were the much better couple. Everyone could see that but Desiree (at the time). It worked out for the better because Chris and Des are real love, not the infatuation she had with Brooks.
She would have chosen Brooks for sure, BUT if she had, they wouldn't have lasted. So it was a good thing she did choose Chris. So everything happens for a reason.
Please enlighten me, if you are truly upset and emotional, where are the tears, they should be streaming/running down her face, instead all of this show you she hear sniffing and rubbing her face red, no tears not a drop from her tear duct, be real if you are sad or upset and cry for God sake.
