I grew up with Brooks and Dunn every weekend in the truck going fishing with my Grandpa. By random circumstance I saw them in concert a few weeks ago and they killed it. Last Summer I became a believer again, and this song is incredibly powerful.

Simple one for you Devin, 8 years in the service Army, Gulf War vet 1990-1991 (served 1990-1998). Got me some stage 4 melanoma on my back. I am currently 49 and finding it hard to breath daily. Would like a shout up to God or two from some. If not, no worries, I have lived an ok life, could of been better, but we do what we can.

What I love most about this song is that even if you're not a believer, you can still see the absolute beauty in what should be a broken man finding a way to not only accept his eventual fate, but to embrace and find peace and happiness throughout his pain, loss, and death.
