why do people build freminet wrong? he is supposed to be like diluc , spamming skill -> normal attack over and over (ofc + burst ) he is meant to do skill cuz its his most spam and big dmg part of the kit (burst is only 1 time) additionally he gets more attack when he performs shatter (attacking a frozen enemy with phys attack) so his normal attack is there only for procking shatter , nothing more , tho its usefull to have the whole kit maxed u can mainly just focus on the skill dealing damage and nothing else
He's not just a skill spammer. Pers timer (and the burst to lessen the timer) is specifically there for the physical build. There's two ways to build him as dps. The one utilizing pers timer is focused on his pressure level/NA 4 (physical dps build), while skill spamming (cryo dps build) is focused only on pressure level 1. Both playstyles proc shatter.
