Charlie rides my 1998 Honda cr250 and ends up blowing it up. It will need a rebuild. Not a good day for the old 2stroke bike. Thanks for watching and subscribing! New videos every week! Instagram: 2_vintage_
Sorry, but for amount of time this bike was on for, to have this result still means it was on its last legs. Just coz you don't let it sit for 10 minutes doesn't mean this will happen to it. This bike was in need of a piston and service, this was just the end of it.
Thanksgiving Day you will never forget. Not Charlie's fault he almost always rides the Bikes while you film. You guy's are a great team keep it up, remind's me of my own time's growing up in rural America USA
i'm sure he is. buying old, clapped below 1000$ shit is guaranteed disaster. Add that these guys don't know jack shit about 2 stroke dirtbikes and you're already there.
Bill Clinton That’s a fucking great quote. 😂 Hey, by the way we meet again in a different comment section for the same channel. I’m hitting up all of their videos too to see what stupid shit they will do or say. hahaha
@@nissan_6828 an engine that's running rich wont last longer than one running slightly lean unless we're talking about racing. 2 strokes running rich or and engine for that matter is still alot worse for it than most think
Charlie makes fun of people if they don't know about bikes. Then he goes out starts a bike that hasn't been started in 2 month's and doesn't even warm it up then he blows it up😂😂😂
Cuz it wasn't any more blown than it was at the beginning of the video, its either a comedic parody because everyone says to warm it up in the comments or its terrible clickbait trash content with terrible acting by a kid that thinks he is like the smartest person to exist.
When 2 strokes start for the first time after at least a week there is no lube working through the engine so they feel weird for the first minute or so. Hence why you don’t pin it, and run a more diluted mixture
Hmmmm seems strange that it doesnt kick and then woah amazingly it does after a cut,you can clearly hear the air from spark hole it sounds like...explains why it took so long to take it out...
dirtbagian you can if it’s not maintained and you go full speed down asphalt when it’s still got a cold cylinder. Sounded like it need a piston to me anyways
They took the spark plug out. You can hear the puff puff noise from the cylinder head when he pulls the kick starter down with his hand. Also he mentioned blowing it up four times prior to his brother riding off.
Lukey funny thing is he recently released a video where he did the exact same thing. Says he hopes he doesn’t blow it up, then it “seizes” later in the video. Morons man🤦♀️
@@dirtbagian It's all click bait. They probably knew that bike has heat seized previously and knew on the next ride it'd do it again. I've had bikes heat seize multiple times and then start back up after cooling down.
Okay I have watched a lot of your videos. One thing you do not do when you buy a bike you do not drain the fuel. You do not check and clean the air filter. You do not pull the carburetor and clean that. And you also do not take the needle valve out of the carburetor. When this needle valve gets hard after a year 2 years it swells up leans the bike out in Burns it up like this bike did. So my suggestion to you is drain the fuel, clean the carburetor, change the needle valve. And put Castor 927 in your fuel 32 to 1 2 40 to 1 Castor 927 is the best oil to put in your fuel. So what if you pay 38 bucks for the big jug. You pay for what you get
I always let it warm up on the stand for about 10 min or until the radiator is hot before I ride it. The cylinder takes a lot longer to heat up than the piston does. But maybe the cause was that it was too lean because he said it was about 35 degrees out there and would need to go a little fatter on the A/F ratio.
I knew it as soon as I heard him rip down the road then chop the throttle and coast down on the engine. No quicker way to kill a high-strung 2 stroke. We used to hit the kill switch and open the throttle on long "off throttle" coasts to keep the top end lubricated.
Just a tip for anyone who wants to listen. When your bike has no compression dont try kicking it because you will scratch the inside of the cylinders walls and it will cost you more money to get it plated and sleeved.
Last winter you checked the compression and it was already low. And you also checked Charlie’s rm125 and that was low too you should rebuilt it last winter
I think I know what happened, when you let a 2 stroke sit for quite a long time like a few weeks or so the premix in the gas separates from gas, so every time you let a 2 stroke sit for a while you have to shake it a lot so the gas and oil can get mixed correctly and let It warm up for atleast 2-3 minutes and ride it slow for a while. Also check the jetting and see what size pilot and main jets are in it. Maybe it was running too lean.
somewhat yea, i have a clear gas jug that i use to mix my 2 stroke premix and when i let it sit i can see the oil slightly seperate from the gas and i have to mix it if it sits for a while. so i do the same thing on my 2 stroke bikes
You cant blame your bro for that. Not all Charlie's fault. Sounds like maybe you guys should follow my rule of thumb. Let it warm up till the exhaust is warm coming out of the pipe. If your exhaust is cold the bike is cold. You'll never blow another piston that way. I also ride a cr250r.. Love your show guys. Keep it up. Honda rules Charlie's
You might wanna grab a whole new upper end cuz the same thing happend to my yz and i thaught i just needed a piston but the C ring came out and totaled thr piston and cyender
Heard you say you're having problems with Lyme in another vid of yours. You should check out rife therapy and the Doug coil. They're both capable of putting it into remission. Hope you are well this thanksgiving. Cheers!
It was clearly a video made to look like a motor got blown on camera, due to the foreshadowing its obvious he knew it was about to "blow", then Charlie is walking the bike back yet hadn't even tried starting it again? And if it wasn't planned Charlie would have been in the field kicking and kicking for much longer before walking back, its all such terrible acting I have to think it is a video to make fun of viewers that say warm up your bikes or don't engine break etc... but mainly just because the lack of sincere emotion makes it obvious the bike isn't damaged any more than it was at the start
My cr just blew up too. 3 hours on a wiseco rebuild and something got at my piston. Nothing I did I don’t think. Not the spark plug tip, not a pebble or anything like that. Not sure now🤔
on my comment.....that's a common reason for gouging ...what broke then? what piece ... reed?, dirt? what slammed your piston... don't respond if you cant even acknowledge,, what you gonna say?
guys who cares how it blew up, if he did stage it fuck it...so his channel gets some views!!!!! making videos isn't easy and editing and what not..and youtube pays shit..you have to find ways to come up on youtube!
Ive been engine braking my cr250 for years no problems you just dont do it hard. I upshift with no clutch too. No problems. Ride your bike whatever way doesnt kill. Parts can be replaced...especially a new 2 stroke motor.
That def wasnt your fault Chuck. That 250 had many hours on it before you got on it. Just so happen to blow when you got on it. It could of happen to whoever got on it at the time you did. Shit happens n 2 strokes require alot more maintenance than what yall put into them. I enjoy the videos and would love to see yall make a video of the rebuild.
You’re kidding. You have to let it warm up!!! 2stroke rule #1 !! You have to keep feeling the radiator until it’s warm!! Doesn’t matter how warm or cold!
I love 2T, cause it powerfull, light and good at sterring, but my choice is 4T, cause the engine durability, exhaust sound, and do not need to shake the 2T fuel oil with gassoline and fuel is going out fast If I was a rich person probobly 2T was my choice And i do not know how to ride on 2T, I can only imagine that FULL THROTHLE !
