What happened to him? He had a channel on RU-vid, but it seems to be gone. He had a website, but that disappeared. So did his presence on some alternative social media platforms. Sorry, I did not listen to the interview, but if someone can fill me in briefly why he deleted his channels and website, it would be much appreciated.

I think anyone who has read The Protocols of Zion has a good understanding as to why Father Nathanael is banned on pretty much every platform! I first watched him a decade a go and glad that his content is still available, despite having to "search" for it and feel guilty about it because it is the unadulterated truth that the global authorities do not want to be heard. You have to wade through a search engine result of slander.
When people say the Protocols are fake, I tell them to read the book themselves and then ask themselves if what is predicted is and has already happened.

I am not Orthodox, but the Lord showed mercy on this sinner many years ago, and reconciled me to God through His Son. I enjoyed listening to you both speak, and am especially grateful that you broached some topics that are usually avoided. These 'taboo' matters need to be opened up. One thing Brother Nathanael makes clear is that the Pharisees who lied, slandered and brought into motion the execution of Jesus are still operating today. Employing their Babylonian black magic (TV, media, cultural distractions, Mammon, wars, the dismantling of Godly societies), these modern day supremacists claw to do the same to all who seek God's Truth. I was born Jewish too and my father side is Sephardic. They are Arab Jews. They do not support the state of Israel because they had problems with them too. I'd reached out to Bro Nat and struck up a bit of a friendship, and he gave me a reference to the priest of a local Orthodox church, who welcomed me and invited me to consider membership and joining its choir (singing in Old Slavonic as has been done for a thousand years). I happened to be in NYC where I was able to meet someone at the ROCOR headquarters, who verified Bro Nat's legitimacy, and that there was official sanction for him to do the work he's been doing. It was an amazing visit there, on Christmas Eve, as a monk upstairs was audibly warming up for some serious chanting/singing (of the Psalms I believe) in the traditional style, and it was reverberating beautifully down the stairway.
Brother Nathanael is a wonderful Christian ,and Bishop Fulton Sheen ,catholic, but when listing to him you think he knows Jesus personal . I recommend both , delivery is different ,but the message is the same. Wonderful Christians

I think the initial questions about his monasticism were very valid and I don’t think Father Nathaniel should have been bothered by it. When you see an Orthodox monk outside a monastery you must confirm if he is a part of a service-based monastic order/community. If not, is he approved to be serving the world by the bishop? If not, then he should not be outside his monastery. There have been issues with rogue monks before, and everyone is just trying to be safe and obey the Church.
To be fair, it’s also a question that has been answered a hundred times before. It makes sense to answer it in the context of the interview but I can understand a bit of annoyance.

@NoeticInsight it has been a while. I don't know when they broke communion. When I last spoke with Fr. Gregory, his biggest beef, was the rise of Freemasonry in the Orthodox Church, starting back in 1965. I get the impression that was the straw that broke the camels back for him. I can not disagree with the threat that masonry is against the Church as it is an ecumenical organization that is seeking union between all religions, not unlike the Bishop of Rome and his efforts to do the same. Now, even the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Fr. Bartholomew I, is making what appears to be similar action like the papacy of the 11th century cause schism, like when he authorized the creation of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to replace the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in 2018. We are living in difficult times, and many will fall away. Just stay true to your priest, and remember, all comes down from God.
What Jesus criticized in the Temple priesthood was that they had turned it into a slaughterhouse. God did not want these animal sacrifices or gold coins but these were the livelihood that supported the Temple priests. That’s why he repeatedly drove them out with a whip and overturned the tables of the money changers. He preached that God wanted mercy not sacrifice. God does not want or need any kind of sacrifice from us. What He wants from us is repentance and a humble spirit towards Him. What they hated in Jesus was that he forgave sins and didn’t require atonement from anyone; ever. Payment or atonement for sin negates forgiveness. This was intolerable for the elders of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
