I think he doesn't have a musical ear. This explains why he doesn't get what Dimash is actually doing. No one else can sing as well as Dimash. Is like showing to a daltonist the best shades of red.
Не понимаю людей обращающиx на акцент, сами спойте ка на казаxском или на русском без акцента. Попробуйте выучить за неделю слова. У нас не станут критиковать и обращать внимания на акцент а наоборот скажут о молодец.
К акценту трудно привыкнуть и не обращать внимания. Дело не в том что это плохо а потому что это не звучит так как ты привык. Да и потом это отвлекает. Помимо всего что я сказал петь с акцентом или неверно произносить слова является вполне приемлемой критикой.

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.

That TV channel is schizophrenic! We thought we understood that they did strikes right after Singer 2017, then again shortly before, during and after airing Singer 2018 (and the strikes were on 2017 performances as well). And yet we have seen NO strikes on his 2018 "Hello"... and now, three Filipino reactors have reported strikes. For reactors who do not chop up or frequently pause their reactions, it is probably best to avoid any Hunan broadcasts, which is a shame because their productions are world-class. When I listen to Dimash, besides the incredible ear candy of everything he does, is how he is a lot like a "Bull in a China Shop" w.r.t. performance. Over centuries there has been this carefully constructed china crystal which implies we are not to mix Opera and pop music in this or any way. Dimash does this so fluidly and impressively, he has now smashed that piece of china, How about the crystal canard that states men do not sing that high?..."DOUBLE-SMASH". Stick to your native tongue?..."TRIPLE-SMASH". Vitas was more a novelty act, Dimash has legitimized the use of his god-given range and fearlessly used it to terrific effect. He is employing all of the talent, training, even tricks he can to drill a hole directly into your soul and skip all the bullsh?>T that hangs around vocal norms. And, he does this with such fore though and finesse. I have watched many reactions and it is great how the public is accepting what he is doing and praising it. There have been very few dunces who say "he sings like a girl" or "what is this...Opera?". No it's not Opera, boy, girl, singing high or low, soprano, tenor or anything else, it is a new artist paving the way, with absolutely no fear, for others in uncharted waters and smashing all that dusty old china all along the way!!

He has a nice smile, though. :) Maybe he just doesn’t understand the talent he was witnessing. You however not only got the brilliance (six octaves!!!) but were so affected emotionally like the rest of us who have had the fortune of hearing Dimash.
