Havok, also known as Alexander "Alex" Summers, is a Marvel Comics character introduced in Uncanny X-Men #54 in 1969. The younger brother of Cyclops, Alex has the mutant ability to absorb and release cosmic energy as powerful plasma blasts. Struggling with control and living in his brother's shadow, Havok initially joins the X-Men with reluctance. His storylines often explore themes of power and identity, notably including conflicts with the villain The Living Monolith and the revelation that his father, Corsair, is alive and leads the space pirate group, the Starjammers. Throughout his journey, Havok evolves from a troubled youth into a formidable and independent hero.
