I cos no longer find the one where you thread the top part (part 2 of this series) and I’m stuck there because my machine doesn’t have the label and I can’t see it very clearly in the video. The machine likely needs to be oiled. The manual for the machine should have a section that explains where to add the oil. Use only sewing machine oil. Other types can mess up the machine. There are many RU-vid videos that show how to do it as well.
Sorry I’m so late responding to you. Have you followed all the videos to thread both the upper and lower threads? Sewing machines must be threaded exactly correct in order to work right.
You don’t need to put the threads together as long as the top thread and bobbin thread are threaded correctly. As I can’t see exactly what problem you are having, I can’t diagnose the problem. I recommend going to a fabric/quilting store. Sometimes they give sewing lessons where you might be able to get help. Libraries are also a place to look.
